They were happy to talk with me each day when I called for updates, and Petunia thrived and was quite healed and in excellent spirits by the time we returned. When I picked her up her eyes were raw, I presume from their cleaning techniques and she wouldn't open one of her eyes. By the next day her eye was so bad I had to take her to the vet and they diagnosed her with a scratched cornea. While that may not sound that serious of an issue, it's over a month later and her eye still has a depression where she was hurt. I called Lauren about it and she said that nothing unusual happened during the grooming appointment. I found that hard to believe and if that was the case, no dog is safe in her care.
