Bad experience from the moment I walked in. Donna was rude and impatient with both me and my dog. Cut me off when speaking and rushing me. I brought my *emotional support dog* in this morning and was absolutely appalled at the way he was handled. He was visible scared and she was pulling him by a string around his neck when he was "pancaked" on the floor out of fear. She then asked me to help her lift him into a tub 4ft off the ground which I was uncomfortable doing... both because he is 90lbs and also because I didn't want to traumatize him further. He growled when she tried to pick up his back end and she started saying "you really think he's going to bite you?" repeatedly when I refused to help her lift him. I suggested she just brush him out if he was that scared of the bath and she told me "I baby him" and "this is why he's like this because he gets his way" in a rude tone. I would rather take baby steps to get him to trust a groomer than force him to have a bad experience. Being someone who works with animals you would think she would understand how to handle them. Needless to say he did not stay.

He has groomed our long-haired rescue Dachshund 3 times now. I was very worried about handing her over to him, as she suffers from a great deal of social anxiety and separation anxiety and has been known to growl and snap at strangers. The first two times Roman groomed her, she came out looking beautiful and surprisingly relaxed. I was thrilled. The next time did not go as well, unfortunately, but Roman handled it like the amazing pro he is. He had groomed my dog entirely, but when he went to cut her nails, she had a diarrhea attack in his van. He explained this to me, patiently. I was mortified, but Roman's concern was not for himself or his van, but only for my dog-- he wanted to figure out what triggered her response to make sure it didn't happen again. I feel lucky indeed to call myself a client of Roman and his Dog Gone Clean Mobile Salon!

We elected to go with a mobile groomer so we wouldn't displace the dogs by taking them to the vet or pet store. I have to say Roman made each one feel so comfortable and he did a great job with them. He also surprised each one with a bandana. We will definitely be using him again.
