Never met this woman formally even when it was formally Westover Animal Clinic, nor did she ever introduce herself personally. My cat was handled several times by Kate and Rose and upon the second time I was very displeased as my cat was expressing signs of displeasure. The first time these 2 techs handled her, they wrapped her like a taco and caused my cat to have a panic and anxiety attack, and refused to let me comfort my cat to calm her down. The second time I was asked how to go about the tasks at hand and were plainly informed. They didn't follow instructions of rotating my cats' hips to trim her nails, and be quick as my supposed assigned tech would do. It took them 15 minutes to trim my cats' nails and perform a sanitary trim causing displeasure to my cat. During the procedure I questioned Rose's competence which she was not showing me she was very confident in performing the nail trim as she pulled the cats leg up to the side and trying to cut her nails from underneath as she was held down. Upon after another appointment which I had my assigned tech it was agreed the girl, which I described in booking the appointment I no longer wanted to touch my cat. My cat was finished in 5 minutes along with another tech that assisted with no problems. Soon after Jennifer called me and supposedly according to my behavior, past comments, I was supposedly told in the past by the girls, I was considered a racist with no evidence to support her claims. She raised her voice on the phone, was very defiant in defending the 2 techs even replying to her not performing your job the right way has nothing to do about being racist. Jennifer refused to discuss any comments or events of what happened. So, I was forced to seek out another veterinarian service and start over new. I work in a customer filled environment which I have to delegate with difference ethnicities, religions, and difficult situations even involving deaf people, and have to treat everything on a case-by-case basis. Even when my managers receive a complaint against me the door is open as two sides to every story. Jennifer did no display any neutrality in having an adult conversation to better understand any event. Anyone who cares for their pet should have the right to voice their concerns even directly at a tech if a procedure doesn't seem correct. As well, these two techs from the working ethics, one standard applies to every animal though these may need to adjust depending on someone's pet.

Do not see Dr. Henderson if you care about your pet…read more Our cat Milo was having seizures suddenly over the last 12 hours so we decided to take him to the vet. He was an overweight cat and the cause of the seizures was not diagnosed. After simply taking blood work and giving less than 20 min of an IV fluid, they stuffed him back in the cage and sent us on our way with a prescription for phenobarbital. No instructions other than how to give the cat the medicine, no goodbye, no thank you, and no advice on what to do if the seizures persisted. We administered the half a pill like we were told to do and he had another seizure 10 minutes later. We called the office to get advice and they basically said nothing. We left Milo to go get some yogurt to help him with his dosages for about 3 hours and when we got back he was dead on the floor under the bed. When we called back and told them our cat died they were completely unsympathetic, indifferent, and when Dr. H finally called back, said she "had never seen anything like this in 40 years. Why didn't they keep him until the blood work was complete, or load him with a higher dosage of the medication because he was a larger cat to prevent the seizures before they became fatal?! He was only 2 years old and if they were more specific about how much of a dosage we should have given him initially to get his treatment under way, or if they had given him some medication and enough of it to match his weight before we left the clinic, milo would still be with us today... TLDR: Dr Henderson doesn't care about your animals and if they die, Too bad, she doesn't know why and didn't care anyway. 40 years of veterinary practice for nothing!
