This review does not reflect the services this company provides, but rather a concerning experience I had involving one of their drivers. As a dog owner myself, I take the safety and well-being of animals seriously. Because of the aggressive behavior I witnessed from one of this company's drivers, I would not feel comfortable entrusting my pets to their care, and I feel compelled to share my experience with others in the community. At approximately 11:00 PM last night, after finishing a 12-hour shift at the hospital, I was driving on Sunset Lake Road from Holly Springs toward Fuquay-Varina when a van belonging to this company began following me extremely closely. I was already driving slightly above the posted speed limit, yet the driver continued to tailgate me to the point that I was concerned they would rear-end me if I needed to brake. The driver also had their high beams on. Feeling unsafe, I briefly moved into a turning lane to see who was behind me. After I returned to the roadway, the driver accelerated aggressively and appeared to exceed 60 mph in a 45 mph zone, seemingly attempting to get ahead before I could identify the business. I was eventually able to see the company name when we both reached the Main Street stoplight in Fuquay-Varina. While I cannot speak to the quality of this company's pet care services, I can speak to the behavior I witnessed from someone operating one of their vehicles. Aggressive driving puts everyone on the road at risk. Incidents like this can easily lead to serious accidents, injuries, or worse. I hope the company addresses this behavior and reminds its drivers that the safety of others should always come first. First off, I have visited this place a few times before with my dogs and have received great service. Life happened and I stopped coming here for two years while I begrudgingly washed and groomed my dogs at home. I decided to call Paws Fur Grooming and they still had my account on file after not visiting them for a long while! The scheduling process was so easy and they were able to see my dogs in two days! My doggies smell fresh, and their coat is so soft! The staff is also very nice and attentive. If you want your dog to be styled a particular way, they'll do it. We had our 6 month old Maltipoo groomed for the first time by Mataya. She was extremely patient and sweet with her. She hesitated to tell me but later confirmed that my puppy cried and screeched during most of her haircut. She told me that she just took her time and loved on her a bunch. My puppy looked absolutely adorable and the haircut was exactly what I had explained I wanted and envisioned. I travel 45 minutes to go here & wouldn't have it any other way. They came highly recommended so I made an appt for my 6m old 7lb Goldendoodle,Frankie. This was her 1st time being groomed & she was a shaggy mess. I was SO pleased by the job her groomer Mataya did. Absolutely beautiful. I also have a 100+ lb, 4yr old Sheepadoodle named Dominic. Dom has never been able to be professionally groomed due to awful anxiety (we tried many times & no one was successful). I decided to mention the situation to Mataya & to my surprise she was willing to take on the "challenge". "Dash" at the front desk has no customer service skills. We have brought our dog here several times without issue and have always had a good experience, but this particular time he came home with a bad smell, still wet, not fully deshed, did not have the full Paws+ package which I could tell because the bandana was missing. When I called, Dash did not know what the services included, and then when he returned on the phone proceeded to be argumentative with me saying that we need to bring the dog in more often to have him shed less, that the cologne they used must be the smell (it was clearly that they didn't use the premium shampoo even though they charged us for it), and the dog wasn't dry because of the humidity. The dog had been there for 4.5 hours. He was rude and had an attitude and was raising his voice - when I got defensive, he told me "well you called here complaining," and when I asked for the manager he continued to escalate and again slipped and said you called here "bitching and complaining." When I asked him what he just said to me he denied using that phrase. He clearly has never dealt with customers before and doesn't know how to handle any level of dissatisfaction at all.
