Wow they got my dogs so clean-such an attentive team The owner is hands on and knows every dog that comes through the doors and every detail. the lady that works the front is like super women and our dogs live going there. Paws & Claws does a great job and coming from the East Coast of Florida - what a wonderful difference. the prices are half of what we were paying and the care is a thousand times better. thank you Paw's and Claws!

Brought my Husky in and was greeted with a smile. They were very kind and careful with him! He looked great afterwards! Fabulous service and care. It costed $65 for the service which is about average for what I have found for my dog's size and amount of undercoat. Thank you ladies! Highly recommended!

On a quest to find THE BEST groomers for my girl Daisy after having moved from Connecticut to Punta Gorda I was blessed to find Paws-N-Claws. Having come highly recommended I called on a Saturday on the off chance of a cancellation. Patty said to call Tuesday when they opened and likely she'll be able to get me in. Sure enough, Patty was able to have my scruffy Daisy groomed. As you'll see from the before and after pictures, Daisy looks fabulous. The care and attention towards Daisy and that all concerns or questions were addressed goes beyond five stars Upon scooping up Daisy, I was almost misty-eyes at how beautiful she looked! I can honestly say in all the grooming she's had this has to be THE BEST she's ever had. Honestly speaking. So how would I rate my experience? what a RIPOFF, I had priced out Fromm dog food and they were the closest and the price advertised online was there, and I ordered it but they charged me like $15 more - almost the cost of a smaller bag. I was pissed, then they had the audacity to call to see if I wanted more. I didn't return the call initially but decided to eventually and the response was 'have a nice day and if we can be of assistance please call us', like REALLY I'm not sure they really listed. I just picked up my MewMew and she looks gorgeous. Great job Patty. she is a tabby but mostly white with beautiful blue eyes. she is a female cat and I got her the lion cut. to be honest I left a bad review several years ago but it wasn't paws and claws that was the problem. My cat was a cat from hell. he scratches and bites anybody that gets near him. I can't find where to edit the review but this is a five star review I've been there several times since the incident with my cat from hell And have been totally satisfied 100%. I'm sorry Patty that I took it out on you when I should've realized my cat is nasty as hell. much love Patty You are the best when it comes to taking care of animals. Brought my Husky in and was greeted with a smile. They were very kind and careful with him! He looked great afterwards! Fabulous service and care. We started using this groomer because it is really close to our community. We have two poodles and everytime we send them there the results are inconsistent and mainly not good. They either shave their snouts down to their skin or they shave their ear hair and/or their tail hair completely off. Poodles are known for their beautiful long ear and tail hair... The Close shavings also irritates our dogs skin and sores appear. When we complain, they say that they had a new groomer, etc. They never offer a refund or credit for another grooming. We are no longer sending our dogs there for fear of them getting an infection (The pics attached are from November 2019 grooming with side of his face sheaved too close and you can clearly see the shaving soars). read more

Worst, uneven, chopped haircut my dog has ever received. .Owner, Patty, can't give you a "real" grooming price, as she has many variables to overcharge you for when you return to pick up your dog. When dropping off our dog, there were 4 other dogs being dropped off and tossed in cages, at the same time. There was a large Labrador standing unattended on a grooming table. Patty agreed to trim our other 2 dogs nails, while we waited and made two nails on our one dog bleed. Most likely, because she seems overwhelmed, hurried and fairly rude. Patty was complaining that her helper "Erica" was sick and a young boy, maybe 10-12 years old, was being dropped off by his mother to help in the shop. As horrible as my dogs haircut was..looks like the young boy may have cut my dog's hair.. BOTTOM LINE.. I should have gone with my gut instinct and walked out without leaving my dog there in Patty's care for grooming. My charge when I returned to pick up my dog $75 for one grooming and 2 nail trims and I tipped her $10 for $85 total...That is because she didn't bring my dog out, before I paid her.. She states her starting price for grooming is $43? I'd steer clear! No wonder Patty has to leave her own review on Yelp..see 8/25/2015 by owner herself... read more

I was initially very pleased with Furry Land Mobile Dog Grooming. I used them once, was happy with…read morethe service, and scheduled my next appointment for two months later. My appointment was scheduled for Monday at 9:00 AM. However, on Thursday, I received an email stating that my appointment had been successfully rescheduled to a different time. The problem was that I never requested a reschedule. If Furry Land needed to change my appointment, I would have expected a phone call to discuss available options rather than receiving an automated notification that the appointment had already been moved. The new appointment time did not work for me, so I called to discuss the situation. Unfortunately, I reached an answering service. They said they would contact the franchise owner and have someone call me back. Later, I received a call from a woman who identified herself as the manager. When I explained my concern, she repeatedly told me that she had not rescheduled the appointment and that "the system" had done it. While that may have been true, it completely missed the point of my concern. My issue was not who or what changed the appointment--it was that the appointment was changed without my knowledge, approval, or input. Rather than acknowledging that frustration or offering a solution, the conversation kept returning to the fact that the system made the change. At that point, I realized we were not going to reach an understanding, so I asked that my appointment be canceled and decided to find another mobile groomer. I made one phone call and secured an appointment with another groomer for the very next day. The grooming service itself was good, which makes this experience disappointing. Customer service and communication matter just as much as the quality of the grooming, and unfortunately, this experience fell short of my expectations.

Love the report cards that let us know how he adjusted! Fast forward to 2025 and a promotion for Star Student Training (1 on 1 with Danville, their trainer). Pancho needed that because my husband passed and his anxiety is through the roof. We came two times a week and learned all the skills that my daughter paid $3000 for at a boarding trainer. We chatted and Danville advised on how to handle a number of issues. My loving 8 year old boy has learned so fast - if only I can give him the repetitions he needs. We are taking a break while I address my health issues but meanwhile we connected with the groomer for nails and hope to have him do the 3 hour play sessions. Pancho's excitement when I say we are going to see Danville is over the top with jumping and cries of joy. Linda, Danville, and the staff LOVE dogs as I witnessed in my two hour a week sessions. My Henry tends to be a bit on the nervous side when pics are taken but she put him at ease and got him in a variety of Christmas stuff with great pics. Not one bad photo. Don't worry I only chose 3 of his many pics to share. If my Henry is pleased so am I. The pricing is affordable and they have great hours. However, They do have nap time between 12:30pm and 2pm. They do not accept drop offs and pickups during this time.

Here's the quick story: we dropped off on a Saturday afternoon and said we'd come back on Sunday at 4 p.m. Their windows to pick up on Sunday are 10:00-10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.-4:30 p.m. by appointment only. So we agreed to pick up on Sunday at 4 p.m. with the employee on duty and the employee also agreed. We showed up on Sunday at 3:55 p.m. and waited until 4:15 p.m. No one was there and no one answered the door, which was locked. We called twice and left voicemails and we never received a phone call back. There was a sign on the door that said closed due to the Easter holiday. We picked up on Monday morning, the next day, at 7 a.m. and they charged us for the extra day, so total was $82 for the two days. They also charge $10-11 extra if you want "all day play." We asked why the employee said to come back at 4 p.m. to pick up on Sunday if they were going to be closed for the holiday and the response was, "didn't you see the sign?" They also keep all dogs in the back, and they don't allow anyone back there so no transparency which is very suspicious. I would not recommend this company and they've lost our business permanently. We will use another company going forward.

My husband &I drove to Ft myers from North Port to check out Preppy Pet. From time we walked in, they met our girl, they fell in love with her, and she felt comfortable. We had pictures of her being silly. They impressed me, the employees do love the dogs & my girl knew that she truly loved her. She is very laid back loves to sunbathe and she had a great time there. Yes we worried because we never leave her take her everywhere with us/she is a service dog/medical alert dog. So she's very intelligent. If she was unhappy I could tell but she was happy. I am picky of where we take her for boarding. I was very impressed by the whole place. She will be going there again dec 2025. THIS Place is WONDERFUL!! We are seasonal visitors here, so asked neighbors with dogs for a recommendation. The staff at Paws-N-Claws truly Love dogs! We got a sneak-peek of a groomer 'doing' another dog, and our Heidi looked SO Good when brought out to us! My husband's response__"Could we figure a way to fly her down here for grooming?" That's obviously not an option, so best we could do for now was take her back for her 'going home' bath, and look forward to next year. We Are Picky with our little (schnauzer) girl!! Ft. I highly recommend this establishment. The owner and her employees are a very caring group of people. It always smells wonderful and the dogs smell just as good and look just as good also. They leave happy and when they return for their next grooming appointment they are happy to see all of the Paws N Claws staff. Oh, and by the way, I am the owner. Nonetheless I have owned this shop for seven years and I love going to work every day. It is the best job in the world. I hope you'll give us a try. read more
