I absolutely love love LOVE Paws Pet Pad! I have tried 4 other daycare services and none of them were a perfect match. Finally I have one that stuck! They have the best hours I have found. As my fiancé and I sometimes work 12+ days, it is great to be able to drop our Arthur off in the early morning and pick him up later in the evening. This was the biggest initial selling point of PPP to us. The staff there is wonderful and by the second day they knew my dog by sight. Whenever I go in, even though it may be a staff member I haven't seen before, they know my dog by name. I feel like they truly care about my animal and it gives me peace of mind when leaving him there. The staff has also gone so far to monitor my dogs limp and give him rest periods whenever they feel he needs one. I love the daily report card that has a daily picture and let's me know if he had any behaviour issues that day, how his demeanour was, and what dog friends he made at daycare. I could talk about these guys forever honestly. But my last biggest praise for them is their facility. Other daycares I went to my dog would come home smelling disgusting, sometimes caked in urine and it was awful. Upon walking into PPP there is no smell of harsh chemicals and my dog never comes home a gross mess any more. I love these guys and I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who has a dog. My dog comes home exhausted everyday and he is a mischievous little guy otherwise. So it really is a life saver. read more

My two dogs seemed to enjoy their day at daycare and were likely well taken care of. Seemed like a great place with great reviews. I was hopeful for a great experience, as it was the first time I've ever left them anywhere; however, both came home with more than one infection after a short 12-hour stay at the kennel. Bacterial paw infections, both dogs, in all four paws. Their skin around their paw pads got extremely red and swollen within 2 days of returning home, they could barely walk. As well, both contracted Giardia; which my vet advised likely resulted from them being infected from drinking contaminated water or coming in contact with contaminated feces. Although most dogs don't get symptoms, and this parasite might be considered to occur frequently in kennels, my two were unlucky and got very ill, throwing up constantly, one with green bloody diarrhea and the other with diarrhea that got so bad it was basically coming out of him as straight blood, I had to rush him to emergency. They are still recovering after each losing 8-12 pounds in a week and are currently on too many meds to mention, as well as almost $4000 spent in vet bills, so far, as my female goes through more tests. read more

Our dogs had never stayed at a boarding facility before, so we checked out many places before we decided on Paws Pet Pad. Nothing compares to this place. The facility is very new, clean, bright, tidy and more "homey" than other kennels. What really assured us we were choosing the right place was the staff and care they give to the dogs. The dogs have their own bedrooms and get to play with other dogs in play groups suited to their size and personality. The best part is the daily report cards they send you each day of your pups stay there. They take photos of them and give a little report of how their doing. Beyond the canine care, the customer service is also tops. Our vacation got cancelled 2 days prior due to the covid19 outbreak, and paws pet pad was so accommodating, in allowing us to use our deposit for a future stay. This was AWESOME. 2 of our pups just spent May long weekend there and came home happy, healthy and tired from all the play. PPP was recommended to us by our daughter and niece. We were in a serious bind as our regular housesitter cancelled on us at the last minute and we were going on a two week vacation. Emily responded to the voicemail we left very promptly, and once we explained the situation she set us on the path to solve our problem. Our hound came from the Humane Society. He's a very large, senior, three-legged galoot with issues, so we were very nervous about boarding him. From the initial contact through to the drop-off the staff at PPP were awesome. The report cards every day were tremendous and really allayed our fears. We also received a text about a minor issue that was being monitored. We highly recommend PPP, they definitely raise the bar for pet boarding. read more

I have two Fur Babies and they love going to Paws Pet Pad in Leduc Business Park. They are both still puppies and have so much energy. The socializing with other dogs, various handlers and all the business of drop off and pick up is fabulous for them. You can genuinely feel the critter love from the staff and I feel so pleased that I have access to their service. My Pups come home mildly exhausted from a great day of exercise. It helps me not feel guilty that our walks are shorter on those evenings. The exercise also helps us to work on training skills because they are not bustling with energy and the brain is better engaged. Thank you to everyone who makes this service possible! read more

We love Paws Pet Pad in Leduc, Alberta and so do our two dogs: Brody, a 100 lb. Yellow Lab, and Dani, a 20 lb. Sheltie Doodle. They really are Mutt and Jeff! For daycare, they attend separate play groups, due to their size difference. For boarding though, they get to stay and sleep together, which makes them very happy (and saves us a bit of $$$ too)! The ladies (caregivers and trainers) treat them like gold and us too. We get pictures every day and personal notes from ladies when one of them (usually Brodie) needs some special "people" attention! When we've had to change plans at the last minute, the owners are always very gracious and accommodating. We give them five ! read more

This place is so awesome! They take good care of my dog, Daisy. She always comes home happy and has a great time with some dog friends while she's there- and at the same time they understand dogs very well and understand that maybe Daisy doesn't want to be in a big group of dogs on some days, so an attendant will spend time with her or let her play just with one other dog, and she's happy. One day Daisy broke a nail on the ice during her stay. The staff was really good about letting me know the situation right away and I never worried about her in their care. She was in good hands! Paws Pet Pad exceeded all of our expectations! Michelle and Katie recently performed a temperament test on our litter of six purebred Golden Retriever puppies, and their expertise truly shone. Without any background information, they provided incredibly accurate assessments that helped us determine the best homes for each puppy. Their keen observations also identified a service dog candidate, confirming our instincts for a service dog placement. After starting with a new company my husband I were contemplating having to rehome our beloved dog that we've had in our family for 8 years. Sophie is a Shep X who is very social, smart, and needs some great running time - I am thrilled that Paws Pet Pad opened its doors in Leduc as it has helped Sophie stay happy and healthy during the week by attending daycare twice a week. She's always excited to hop in the car in the morning at mention its daycare time. She's happily greeted by the staff and always well behaved when she comes home. We have two husky cross dogs. Each have their unique needs one is elderly and one with some reactivity. Paws Pet Pad have been able to adapt a program for each dog's unique needs - meds/activity/ play style. When we drop the dogs they are so happy to be there and run right to the entrance (and don't look back!). The daily updates with photos and news are great. At pick up the pups are happy and settle home content after their stay at Paws. They have been going for the past two years with stays every two months. We have been taking our dog here since they opened, and he absolutely loves it! We have tried numerous daycares as I am Super picky about where I will Leave my dog and with who. Our dog has done in home boarding with one of the staff members and they accommodated us for that before the facility was officially open which was amazing because they didn't have to do that, and we take our dog to daycare at least once a week. The place is very clean, they will happily give you a tour and the staff is always friendly and our dog gets so excited to see them! read more

I Can't say enough great things about Paws Pet Pad. My dog Oreo goes here for boarding services every time where away. The staff here is awesome and it's a comfort to know my dog is safe and having a fantastic time. Our little chi pup (9 months) and his older brother were kept together for our chi's first day. We've taken him everywhere we can to get him used to other people and noises and stuff but he'd never been socialized with other dogs. So this was a good beginning. He came home slightly tired but he also seemed much calmer I definitely noticed a change. Great staff - upbeat and friendly and very much pet lovers. The trainers and attendants are wonderful. We just picked up our pups who spent 10 days at the kennel and the staff were so amazing at keeping us updated and we love the daily pictures and report card.
