After trying out a different daycare we took him to Doggy Den. The staff were great and wonk seemed to enjoy his time there. Coming home exhausted after a long day of playing with other pups. I was also able to get some information for local trainers while I was in. With the dog that we were able to check up, she was thorough in asking about any changes or concerns as well as asking questions about breed-specific issues and provided me with some great education on what to look out for! My family and I recently purchased two puppies almost three weeks ago. They both have ear mites and…read moreyeast infections , one has roundworm and the other Giardia. The puppies live two and a half hours away from each other. Each dog has diarrhea and tinges of blood in their stool. We were told that the puppies came from a breeder in Iowa (Sara Hulshof). The veterinarian that signed off is Cari Van Zewden. I'm starting to question both the breeder and store's practices. By the sounds of it, Giardia and roundworm (both are parasites) are challenging to treat and it's highly contagious. I feel awful for our puppies and don't want anyone else to receive sick dogs. We're struggling with the vagueness of the process and health of the animals. I hope that we didn't support a puppy mill.
