Glad we found Caroline! We used her for the first time this weekend and she took such good care of…read moreour two dogs. Our bulldog is still like a puppy and our frenchie is a senior cranky old man who requires medication and a cautious hand. We appreciated the report card she sent and the photos and videos. We have a senior frenchie who can be a little difficult, but she took great care of them both. We will definitely use her again for sure!

Unprofessional Bait-and-Switch - Beware - Everything you DON'T WANT in a pet sitter…read more I contacted Caroline at Ohh My Dog for in-home overnight care for my two senior, anxious dogs for a 12-day trip. She provided a full detailed quote for 12 nights of in-home pet sitting ($1,760) and encouraged me to pay a $20 fee for a meet-and-greet to "ensure the dates are set". As soon as I PAID the fee, the service she "offered" completely changed. Despite being explicitly told my dogs cannot board elsewhere due to anxiety issues, she pivoted and repeatedly pressured me to have them stay in her home. She then claimed she "only accepts one pet sitting client (in your home) a month" and eventually stated she doesn't do in-home sits longer than 7 days (despite quoting me for a 12-day in-home stay just days earlier)--crucial information she conveniently left out until after she had taken my money. Trying to schedule the paid "meet-and-greet" was a series of unprofessional excuses: * First Cancellation (Substitution): Caroline deferred the first meeting to her walker, Grace. I paid the fee to meet the person who would be staying in our home. Meeting a walker who Caroline herself admitted "can't help with walks or anything during the week" does not fulfill the professional requirement for a 12 night in-home sitter meet-and-greet. * Second Cancellation (The Yogurt): Caroline canceled our second in-person meeting the morning of, claiming food poisoning from yogurt that had been expired for two months. Yep--Yogurt. * The Reality: Then she asked me to bring the dogs to HER house for the meet-and-greet and AGAIN suggesting for the 12 night stay with my dogs be moved to her house, continuing to ignoring the need for my dogs to remain in their own environment. * The Virtual Dog Meet and Greet Inconsistency: She then tried to force a "virtual" meet-and-greet because she didn't want to make the 50-minute drive. I explained this is useless for in-home care, as a sitter cannot assess a home's layout, security, or a dog's specific behavioral needs through a screen. When I pointed out that I paid the fee with the understanding that she sitter would be visiting our home to evaluate the environment for the 12-night stay. Now it was also obvious that she could not fulfill the service I originally requested and paid to discuss, she refused to refund the fee and "terminated" our service, claiming the meeting with her walker counted as a finished job. This business will quote you for the service you want just to take your deposit, then provide only what is convenient for them. Extremely unprofessional, misleading and quite honestly LAZY (I won't get into "The Yogurt")...

If you are looking for a pet sitter that goes ABOVE AND BEYOND, please PLEASE don't look any…read morefurther, and I'll tell you why: 3 weeks prior to my trip home for Christmas, my sweet 10 year old cat Puff was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)... I was heartbroken obviously, and at a loss of what to do. With the hope of going home for the holidays, I was in serious need of someone who was willing (and most importantly, capable) to handle such responsibility while I was away (visits 2x per day and administering pill's each visit... no easy task!). I began the hunt for a trustworthy pet sitter. I found Christa from Wiggle Your Tail through a client of mine who belongs to a pet sitting Facebook group who posted about my situation, and Christa was the first to reply to the post. I met her and 3 other pet sitters, one was even from a cat-only company which I assumed would be the most qualified, but I was pleasantly surprised when Christa came over for the meet & greet. She was HANDS DOWN the most sweet and comforting to my cat, as well as the ONLY one Puff didn't run away from before they entered my home. I do have to mention she also was the most communicative/responsive out of all companies. I instantly knew she had a special love for animals, you can tell by the way she tried slowly introducing herself to Puff during her first visit. I'll make the long story short here - I was having HUGE issues administering Puff's meds for more than a week, and I was beyond frustrated. I felt pretty hopeless as he was being SUPER difficult and non-cooperative (more than the typical cat I'd say), and although we didn't nail his meds the first meet & greet, Christa came over multiple times after to try and try again. She was so sweet and understanding of our situation, and after a couple attempts and trial and error, we FINALLY got it down!!!! Puff was NEVER afraid of her, always calm when she was over, and I can't begin to tell you all how above and beyond her customer service is. I am SO INSANELY GRATEFUL for finding Christa. In the end, my heart was telling me I should stay home with my sweet boy this holiday season as it may be our last together. We were too fresh into our new routine that I just didn't feel right leaving him quite yet, so I let Christa know right away as she graciously held the holiday time slots for me until I felt comfortable to make that decision, and her response was nothing but professional and supportive. I told her I wanted to continue using her after the holidays to do drop in visits when we need a little help here and there, so we plan on having a few more visits in the new year so she and Puff can become super comfortable with each other by the time I need to leave town again. I can honestly say at this point I wouldn't trust anyone else but her to confidently take care of his medical needs while my sweet little baby is still here with us. If you made it this far, you probably are super nervous to leave your pet with anyone, but please PLEASE know that your animal will be in amazing hands while you are away. THANK YOU CHRISTA!!!! Puff and I can't wait to keep working with you!

Instead of returning them in a sturdy shipping envelope or box, Christa took a piece of regular white paper and folded it and stapled it into an envelope. Regular white paper! It was not strong enough or meant to ship house keys. And I didn't receive them right away, and when I contacted Christa, she didn't respond back. I thought that was pretty unprofessional. I would recommend insisting that Christa deliver your house keys in person, if she ends up moving again.
