The thing I like most about using this service instead of a friend, neighbor or family member is that Fetch! Pet Care Sarasota has a team of sitters. If, heaven forbid, something happens the sitter like a medical emergency or traffic accident, a substitute sitter can come in and take over the sitting service. I highly reccomend. read more

We can't say enough about Walter Beer and his wife and their loving care for our 2 year old golden doodle. We had to leave him overnight for the first time and we're concerned how he would react to strangers . We'll, they are strangers no more...Chewy had the BEST time playing with the other dogs in their house and fenced yard and later watched TV with them on the couch and even slept with them in their bed. They are the kindest, most conscientious caretakers you could imagine and we will definitely leave Chewy with them again soon. read more

We used Fetch Pet Care services several times with no issues and overall had a positive experience in the beginning. Then we had an incident where our animals were forgotten and we had varying feedback on the cause of the error. Regardless of the cause, we noted the error and it took close to an hour to hear anything back from the owner or the staff assigned to care for our animals. We had already changed our plans and were headed home but if we had not been proactive our animals would have been completely neglected and the issue never addressed. We gave them a second attempt after this issue and overall were disappointed in the lack of communication and professionalism. This was true on several levels and we will not be using them again. It is one thing to make a mistake, which everyone does, but a whole other to lose trust in someone who is supposed to be caring for your animals. read more

My sitter is very flexible with pick up and drop off times. She is very knowledgeable and I never worry about our Yorkie's care while traveling. It's very nice to have that peace of mind as our Yorkie does not do well with separation. Fetch makes every effort to keep her with the same sitter because of that reason. Tina is great! I've used Fetch for the last year, for to care for a turtle (yes, I'm serious) and now for turtle + cat. My sitter Reanna is attentive, and goes the extra mile to take care of everything. The convienance has to be the number one factor. Our dog does not do well boarding and the capability to have someone come to the house so our animals can stay home, their home, all together. I have used Fetch since they started servicing customers in Sarasota. We lived downtown at the time, in a condo, and Jeff walked our dog at least once a week, and many times on a moments notice. We have since moved to the Palmer Ranch area, Tina Beer has taken ownership of the business in this area, and I cannot recommend Fetch highly enough. We all love our pets, and are pretty fussy when it comes to their care. Tina is amazing. She has a standing appointment with our pets each week, and I believe they wait by the door for her. She not only feeds and walks the dog and feeds the cat, she talks and loves on them! When we boarded our dog last year at her house, there were special needs that he had, one being wanting to sleep with a live person! Tina accommodated Rudy, for 2 weeks, sleeping in a downstairs bed with our beloved dog. Now that is service! I cannot understand the previous review, as I have never heard anything negative about this company. I hope they stay in business for a long time!!! read more

I have used Fetch's pet sitting services in Sarasota for my cats at least four times in the past year and am always pleased with the attention they pay to my cats and keeping me updated. The owner, Tina, is wonderful to work with and such a nice lady. She truly loves animals. She recommended Jan Jelenik to watch the kitties and I am so happy with her. They always text me and let me know status updates - which ones ate, which ones were scaredy cats and didn't show their faces. We have fun. Jan always leaves all the dishes clean. She even watered my plants the last time I was out of town, which I was so grateful for. They're just the best! They sincerely care, are wonderful with animals, totally trustworthy. I have no worries knowing that Jan will take care of my babies when I'm out of town. I just cannot say enough good things about Sarasota Fetch, Tina and Jan in particular.
