We decided to do a overnight trip to the Murrieta Hot Springs and wanted to drop our puppy off overnight so we can enjoy the hot spring which pets are not allowed in We found pawtriotic pet hotel on Yelp and saw all the great reviews and I must say that I was very pleased with her first stay away from home. The prices they charge our reasonable. Though I didn't get to see the back of the house, the front of the house and the bakery was spotless. Website is miss leading. "Open at 6am" should come with an * the 6am drop off doesn't count for your overnight stay unless you want to pay a fee. Drop off for overnight stay is between 3-7pm and pick up by 9am the following day or else you are charged a late pick up fee. So for a true over night stay should say $100 plus. Definitely won't be using them. read more

We have boarded our dogs here a few times already and seems like our pups really enjoy themselves while they stay here. Place looks clean and organized. Staff is always very friendly. My only issue is that check in is at 3pm and check out is at 10 am .. if you would like to drop them off early there's an extra charge of $25. read more

Our two dogs have been to this pet hotel a few times, but the last two times they came back dirty or smelled like urine. The first time I paid for a bath for both dogs and the smaller one still had dry feces stuck on his behind. I expressed my concerns to the owner and she was super apologetic and refunded me for the bath. Fast forward, 6 months later I decided to give them another try. I sent them a text the morning of pickup to let them know I would be there within the hour to give them enough time for a bath. When we picked them up, they came out smelling like doggy cologne so I thought okay they must have just been done with their bath - great! However, when we got in the car the dogs smelled more like urine and doggy cologne mixed together! A few hours after the cologne wore off, the smell of urine was very strong and my husband noticed one of the pups had dry urine along one side of his leg. At this point I decided to give them a bath myself because the smell was so bad. The owner is great and she said they have new staff to help with the dogs but it seems like they still need to work out some of the kinks, especially the dog baths. read more

Ok - we have to talk. I have a very senior cat that is 18 plus years of age in guarded medical condition that requires insulin twice a day and very specific dietary guidelines as well as modest accommodations as it relates to his mobility and bedding. He has twice stayed here for significant times while we packed up a home we sold in another state as well as when I had to attend a work conference. To say I was thrilled when I got him home after both stays at the same weight he went in is great news! He typically will not eat when he leaves home, unless he feels safe. I enjoy the multiple pics I get sent to my home daily and the staff are pros when it comes to his med monitoring and providing insulin. I am so happy that the cats no longer make a fuss when the carriers come out cause they know they will be looked after, loved, and cared for as they are at home! This place and its people are BEYOND FANTASTIC!! I adopted my GSD puppy about 3 months ago from this "doggie hotel." We live in the East Bay of SF, and we have nothing like Pawtriotic Pet Hotel near us. The facility is spotless! Smells wonderful and is very inviting. This week I was lucky enough to have Trevor spend four days at Pawtriotic. Their intake forms (8-pages+) are thorough. You can tell they take great pride in hotel. They want to know your pup and his/her needs. Each day, I received pictures of Trevor playing and these pics were accompanied by great descriptions. The staff was just excellent, from dropping him off to picking him up today. They were courteous, genuinely caring and attentive. I can't recommend Pawtriotic enough! The owner Christina showed us around and I can tell how much she loves animals and had an amazing aroma of homemade healthy dog treats! Dropped our 2 dogs off for an overnight stay. I inquired about Pet report cards at drop off and was told those were not provided but I would get digital updates. I completely understand providing digital updates but simply sending out pictures of my dogs playing but not providing any other updates is misleading. When we picked up our dogs and I asked how they slept etc, I was told they did well. There was no mention of them being nervous or being upgraded to anything. No mention of the puppy's accident or plans to clean up our dogs prior to pick up. We were told everything was great! I really had high hopes for this business. They are veteran friendly, most of the staff are helpful and personable, and the pet bakery is awesome. We picked up our dogs 5 hours before our scheduled time as we returned from our trip earlier. Upon receiving our dogs , we noticed that they were both dirty and the puppy had an odor. We have white dogs and understand that they are more susceptible to dirt however, our dogs were there for 1 night. There are no outdoor runs at this facility, the play and relief areas are indoors. Our puppy had caked dry faeces on his rear and our older dog's hind legs were dirty and stained. Our suspicions are that our dogs were not taken out enough and were possibly allowed to sit in a dirty crate/ area. We came home and had to put our dogs in the tub right away. We are extremely disappointed with how our dogs looked after 1 night and cannot imagine how they would have looked after a 5 day overnight stay. We had booked a longer stay for next month but my husband cancelled it as he lost trust in this establishment. We received photos of our dogs playing on the first day and 2nd morning. When I asked how they did overall at pickup, the answer was they did well. No details on how they ate, slept , accidents, or interacted with the staff or their temperaments etc. Very disappointed and probably will not use them again. read more

This place is amazing! We were in a tight spot where we had to leave for a week and our pet sitter wasn't able to help. We went to another pet sitting and they had such a high expectations of dogs that they evaluated our dog as unfit to be in their pet sitting business. Mind you, our only dog is crated and goes in our backyard to do its business. We went to Yelp and found Pawtriotic Pet hotel and I was almost in tears when I called because we literally had a couple of days before our flight. Christina was so sweet over the phone and let us know to come in as soon as we can to tour the facility with our dog. When we got there, the shop dog named Leo was so friendly and calmed down our dog. We met Felipe the other owner and he was a Veteran and was friendly in showing us around. We were impressed how clean and friendly this place looked! They even donate and shelter other dogs and rehab dogs for Veterans. We are so thankful we found this place, and when we left for a week for vacation they sent us pictures and the status of our dog via text daily. We had peace of mind our beloved dog was well taken care of like it was their own. When we picked up our dog after our vacation, they were sad our dog was leaving because they grew fond of our dog. They groomed her 2 days before we picked her up when we paid ahead. We couldn't believe she was wearing a doggie scarf because our dog would not even let us put anything on her neck. I am beyond grateful to the staff at this amazing business. They were so accommodating with my newly adopted lab/shepherd mix, Raven. I am a night shift worker and did not want to stress my dog out by leaving her home alone during my shift. Shutout to the Pawtriotic Dog Hotel. We had to go out of town for a quick trip, this place was amazing. Prior to our reservations we visited this place, the staff gave us a nice tour and reassured us the girls will be taken care of and given lots of TLC. Our oldest takes medication and they ensured she got her meds. Our little one has separation anxiety but she was as happy as she could be. The girls had their own private room with toddler beds, tv, mini fridge etc. There's also many other amenities for the pups. We got text and pictures updates and they even had their own Christmas photoshoot. Highly recommend you take a tour of this place and consider them for your pups next time you're out of town. Boarded my two Shiba Inu's at Pawtriotic Pet Hotel in October 2023 for two weeks. I was nervous leaving my two dogs for two weeks but I can pleasantly say, it was a great experience. I've boarded all around the Southwest County area and this by far was the best experience we've had. Both my dogs take medication and that was administered daily with no issues. My dogs were socialized with other dogs, which I do not normally do but they took to the interaction well. Both were exercised daily and they had play time in the large playroom at the facility. The staff are caring and knowledgeable about what they do which is reassuring and comforting. Photo and video updates were sent regularly which showed me they actually were doing great. Upon picking them up, I noticed there was no "doggie" smell with them which has normally been he case with boarding in the past at other facilities. Both stayed in a private room with video monitor so they could roam freely within it instead of being confined in a kennel and eyes were kept on them. Best all, the staff is on site for 24hr care, which is reassuring for me that they are receiving the best care possible. I've already booked their next stay in March. I can't speak highly enough about this great facility, it's about time there is such a facility local that treats animals with the care and respect they deserve. read more
