When we moved to Temecula last year, one of the things I was concerned with was finding a good petsitter for our "spirited" 66 pound pitbull, Crash. My husband and I are THOSE pet parents....we don't have kids and therefore our dog is our life. We always left him with family or a pet sitter we'd known a long time back home, and here we were in a new place where we didn't know anyone. I relied on Yelp (as I do for many things!) and found Sheri. I cannot believe our luck! Sheri has been amazing with Crash, and he really loves her too. Obviously he doesn't tell us this, but his behavior when we get home is not clingy or pouty as it often was when we traveled in the past. We've now used Sheri's services 3 times, starting with a local trip in case anything happened. (Yes, I know I am paranoid!) I should never have worried. We just returned from a trip to Mexico, and since we couldn't receive texts without paying an arm and a leg, I asked her to email updates, which she did faithfully! This service is wonderful!!! In the past we've always boarded our dogs and felt so guilty. The dogs would come home and it usually took a couple of weeks for them to get back to normal. I was so lucky to find Sheri to take care of my little doggies Kelly & Kacey. They are both Shi Tzu's and one is very people friendly and the other one is scared to death of people. We had recently moved to the area and needed to find a pet sitter to care for our babies while we were gone on a trip. After calling and speaking with SEVERAL pet sitting companies that were not the right fit for us and definitely didn't make us feel comfortable leaving our kids in their hands, we found Sheri! She came by our house for a "get to know you" visit not only once, but twice before we left! The last time I boarded my cat, she went on a hunger strike for several days, so that was a last resort for us. Having someone come in the home saved Ruby from all that anxiety. This was very important as our pets are currently both on medications. My husband recently deployed and we were planning on taking a week of pre deployment leave to see our family back on the East Coast. I met Sheri through a mutual friend while trying to decide whether to board our 12 year old Min Schnauzer. Our pup is getting older and I was uncomfortable leaving him at a kennel when I knew he would be more comfortable at home. We were really lucky to find Sheri. She has really good instincts with pets, immediately sensing our doggie was nervous of new people as his eyesight isn't great anymore. Not only did she come by twice a day to "visit" with Scotty, but she also took him to play at the dog park daily, took him on long walks, sent us several texts and pictures of his daily happenings and came two extra times we didn't pay for just to make sure he was ok while we were traveling to and from our vacation. I have to admit, when we got home and Sheri was dropping him off from a visit to the dog park, our little Scotty was actually torn between coming to us and staying by Sheri's side.
