Barb King listened carefully to what we wanted for our kitties while we were on vacation. This was the first time we had used her. She came over twice a day, and spent about 30 minutes during each visit. Not only did she feed the cats and clean the litter boxes, she took time to play with them. She also brought in any packages that were on the porch, and walked down the street to our mailbox, and got our mail each day. I've always been super nervous and picky to have anyone watch my pets while my husband and I were out of town. My usual Pet Sitter/friend moved out of the area and could no longer help me so I decided to hire someone. I found Barb here on yelp and I'm so glad I did! I have four cats and two huskies and they all love her! I have a very special situation where my female husky always tries to get into the house to eat my cats, and Barb followed careful instructions regarding that situation, which makes me feel so at ease. That has always been a main concern of mine. My dogs are also high energy so I really wanted someone that would go outside and play with them as much as possible, which Barb also does. She also plays with my cats every day that we are gone and brushes them! You can tell she really loves animals which makes me feel so good having her here with them. She makes sure to feed, water, and give treats as well. She not only takes care of your pets but she will also grab your mail and water your plants if you'd like her to! :) She sends updates and photos while she is there to let you know everything is OK! I posted some of the photos that she sent me while I was gone. She is also sure to ask questions if she needs any clarification on anything which is awesome. Barb is a great pet sitter! I highly recommend her. Our dog has diabetes and requires shots 2x a day. He also has a hard time moving around after sitting for long periods. Barb had no problem giving him his shots and took him out on short walks in our neighborhood to keep him active. Barbara has a true love for animals. I could see it in her interaction with my pets and in their reaction to her. She stays in my house overnight when we are gone (so much more reassuring for my fur babies to have someone home) and most of the day. She watches not only my dogs and cats, but my house in general!
