Over the course of my gypsy life I have been blessed to find 2 dentists who were true artists, with a passion for their work and the elevation of their craft to that far above their peers. I am pleased to report I have discovered a third. The first two had offices in southern and northern CA respectively. The third is Dr. Ivanna. I had 2 adjacent crowns that needed to be replaced. He scanned the existing crowns. Redesigned new ones using the scanned images. I watched the redesign process using software and his exceptional skill was amazing. He then milled the new crowns in office and fitted them with very minimal adjustment. The fit was perfect. Completed in 3 hours on a Saturday, during a single visit. No other adjustment required. Thank you Dr Ivanna. You are a true artist.

One cap needed to be replaced 3 times within a very short period of time. The third time, my wife could tell the dentist was mad. He pushed the cap back on with such force that it caused her great pain. While doing this, my wife heard a cracking noise. She asked - did you just crack a tooth - the dentist said no, but sure enough, an adjacent tooth broke a couple of weeks later. Every cap put in by this dentist has fallen out at least once. They do terrible work and they are very expensive. Now we have to find a new dentist to fix the damage that's been done and we're sure it's going to cost big bucks!

I feel so comfortable with their dental services I stayed even though they don't fully accept the Dental Insurance Plan I have. A portion is covered and I pay the balance. I know the integrity, professionalism, cleanliness and skill is the way the office is run on all levels so here I stay. Everyone is super friendly on the Staff. The staff is friendly and professional. But one of the biggest perks of using this dental practice is their laser drilling. I've only needed work on one tooth over the last 10 years I've been using Dr. Shustak, and he performed that procedure with a laser. That meant no pain, no injection and no Novocain numbness!

I learned while making the appointment that Dr. Millett does the Business portion of the practice and no longer practices dentistry. I had an appointment today at 11:40 AM and arrived at 11:20 in order to fill out the paperwork. I was seen at 12 PM and had x-rays but a very professional dental hygienist by the name of Frankie and then I met Dr. Fiect Who examined me, stated that I needed all types of dental work and then said he had no time today to fix my Loose bridge. I insisted that the reason I attended today was because I was medically concerned about it. Because I pressed, he attempted to remove my bridge and then informed me that he would not be able to do so without damaging all the teeth around it. He then asked me if it made me feel any better he could give me antibiotics between now and my next visit if I was concerned about infection. Then I was told that they did not have time to clean my teeth today. I've never had this experience in my entire life. I quickly called my former dentist and made an appointment for Monday morning at 8 AM in order to address my medical concern, and then I filed a formal complaint. Something is seriously wrong there and I informed, my niece that Dr. Millett is no longer the acting dentist.

First: I thought it was a little weird they have you wear a blindfold for the actual sedation, but I thought it was just supposed to help the atmosphere or whatever. It would up being so you don't see the needle. The told me I would be out of it when I was being injected with any needles and wouldn't remember it because of the oral sedation, but unfortunately it's the only part I remember and I screamed because it was so painful. They should have warned me up front honestly about this, but they didn't do now I'm warning you. Secondly, I asked them to make sure to please use a stitch since we were removing a molar and I have poor wound healing. They said they would but when I woke up said they said they were unable to because my mouth was too small? What? I had my wisdom teeth out with stitches applied and there was NO issue there. Because they didn't use a stitch, I suffered a dry socket. It was painful but when I went back they didn't really even look and they were entirely dismissive. It took an additional two months to heal and the additional filling they did fell out. Because the work they did was so bad, I called them up and told them I wasn't comfortable getting my cleaning there and to cancel it and refund that portion of my bill. They tried REALLY hard to get me to reschedule but I have no intention of going back there. They refuse to refund the cleaning they didn't give me however. So basically I have no filling, took FOREVER and was super painful to heal my pulled tooth because bad technique- and no. I wouldn't recommend.

Some dentists I've met go on dental cruises, some have expired licenses on their X Ray Machines, and some rather ask for fees than stay in contact. But Dental Elements is NONE of these. I've found them all a compassionate crew of dedicated orthodontic experts determined to make a positive difference in every client's dental health. Your mouth is not just a collection of teeth, not to you, and not to Dental Elements. To myself and other patients, I consider the staff warm, friendly, and prompt, from sending appointment reminders or communicating via text to helping us feel comfortable in the waiting room or while seated in their office. I found the expertise and consultation they offered in service to dental needs making me consider the calcium in my mouth more valuable than any other polished mineral, metal, or gem. I can't do the community of Dental Elements enough justice.
