Other than folks mistakenly referring to it as 'Finkbinder', we love our local G-town park…read more I think the additional 'd' might come from an old 50's themed restaurant in the Village called Fender Benders (sp?), which closed many years ago - and folks confusing the two. But, that said, only old Glendorans would be making that mistake and yet I hear folks of all ages add the 'd'. The park has lots of amenities we've used since our kids were born and even before... - summer concerts and movies in the park - birthday or event areas (Scouting) - playground - tennis court (other side taken by pickleball :( - skate park - sports fields - horseshoes - volleyball - community center And more. We love walking through the park on the way to the Village. If you haven't been, worth checking out pretty much any day of the week. So many fond memories created at Finkbiner. Even Pokémon Go events, haha.

My dear friend from work mentioned to me that there is a park in Glendora that has new pickleball courts. Thank you my friend! I did some googling and found Dawson Park Tennis Courts. I pass by this place all the time when driving on 210 Fwy. I didn't know these courts even existed. They seem so secluded from the main streets. There are 5 permanent tennis courts. It appears that they originally had 6 permanent tennis courts, but turned one of them into 4 permanent pickleball courts. I say they need another 4 permanent pickleball courts. Anyway, both tennis and pickleball courts are very nice. Very well maintained and clean. Lights come on around 6:00 PM. Plenty of free parking. There are court rules displayed so please do abide to them as applicable. If all the pickleball courts are taken and you have a portable pickleball net and line markers, you may be able to set up a pickleball court on one of the tennis courts. It's an option. Restrooms are in the teen and family center next to the courts. However, if they are closed, then walk across the street to Glen Oaks Golf & Learning Center. They have restrooms for use. We had an amazing time. Played about 3+ hours of non-stop pickleball. It was really really fun. I can't wait to return here to play more pickleball. Great place to be any time of the day!

Courts are nice, but a few nets were showing some wear and tear. Besides the tennis courts area, basketball courts, handball boards small and large, baseball field, recreation center, and other amenities are available. Restrooms are located near the baseball field. Parking is available along side around the park. Overall, it's a good park for family and friends to gather and spend the morning, afternoon, or evening of fun together. I'll definitely be returning here for more court action. I don't live nearby, but I'll do the drive for fun. Thank you Memorial Park!

Went for the recreation swimming, complete waste of time & money, thankfully it was only $5, so not much money wasted. Swimming facilities are ok, nothing special. But if your young child can't swim yet, don't even bother wasting your time. They micromanage you with a bunch of rules. No life jackets allowed which is INSANE. Front desk lady tried to gaslight me & say that's a normal policy in most places which it is NOT. She needs to get out more. I've been all across the country & not one other places I've been to has ever had that rule, in fact it's the opposite in most places--non-swimmers are REQUIRED to wear them. So basically my kid couldn't do anything but sit there hanging on the edge of the pool. I tried to walk around the pool with her on my back, again, like I do everywhere else & they said I can't do that either. I couldn't swim cuz I had to watch my child at all times just hanging on the edge of the pool. Not fun at all. Locked rooms are only 18+, so couldn't use that either cuz my kid is with me. Just a bunch of pointless weird rules & micromanaging that doesn't exist anywhere else I've ever seen. Save your money & time & go somewhere else. We ended up just going to raging waters where we have season passes, she can wear life jackets allowed, & we have way more fun.

They have been coming here since they were all 9months old. Throughout the years my older boys joined the San Dimas swim team which is so awesome and a great team. And what kid of grown men(over 40) hang out at parks, riding bikes, showing off sleave of lame tattoos. This park is facing a busy street with almost no fence between it and the kids that can easily walk into traffic. We stopped at the Great Wolf Lodge and were looking for a picnic near by and what a mistake going to this shady af park. Do NoT bring your kids here like I did. Definetly not safe.

Only trouble here is there's a great deal of insects due to its proximity to the mountains. (Mainly just mosquitoes and biting gnats.) Beware of the occasional coyote at nighttime and drunk kids who like to stop to play the games located in the playground area (after 10pm.)

Despite its convenient location, the park provides a peaceful and relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was interesting to see the restrooms locked at 11am on a Thursday. But despite that, the park promotes a well-maintained playground for children, complete with swings, slides, full court basketball, volleyball with net, wood chip playground, and a handball/wall ball court-- Rainbow! Adjacent to the playground is a large grassy area that is perfect for picnics and games. There are also several picnic tables and BBQ grills available for visitors to use. Whether you're looking for a relaxing day in the park, a fun-filled day of outdoor activities, or a game of handball/wallball or basketball, Gladstone Park has something for everyone.
