He replied 5 hours later, and blamed weather in Salinas, he also told me he can't come soon because he has huge job for a week some place else. I think he overbooked himself, and cancelled on me because he had better client. Otherwise he would reply to my morning message, but he was busy for 5 hr. He explained how different styles and materials would affect cost. In the end we asked him to match the style of the older fencing in our yard, which he did a great job of - but he also made suggestions for some modifications to make the fence more durable.
