My husband and I frequent this smoke shop so often I almost forget it's not my own personal boutique of vape juice, blunts and such. When I first moved here I was on the HUNT for a good vape/smoke shop. Apparently, that was asking for too much. Every shop I tried was a miss. Too expensive. Weak selection. Strange operating hours. Etc... So when we finally found this place, it was like Goldilocks & the Three Bears... it was just right. It's everything I was looking for. It's around the block from home. They have tons of items to choose from, always bringing in new products. Employees are friendly and smart. They know what they are taking about. And the prices are great. LOW. They're not beating you over the head. Customer service is off the charts too, especially Steven. He's always working when I come in. He remembers what I buy and what flavors I like. Absolutely FABULOUS customer service!! Steven is the best of the best in the business ! Everytime I have a problem , question, or flavor recommendation, he is always polite, respectful, and has NEVER charged me a penny to fix my vape after Ive made a mistake(or two..) trying to fix certain problems myself. As a Matter of a fact, I was in a rush to get my coil changed on my E-cigg, while on university Ave, so I stopped at the closest smoke shop too me "BLUE STONE SMOKE SHOP." .. which was the BIGGEST MISTAKE I could have made concerning my vape. The owner there had a very and 'car salesman-ish' attitude, Which in this case, was very unappealing.. BUT I wanted to smoke my vape ASAP, so I went against my better judgement and bought the coil from him anyway.(oh, plus there was a very un-healthy/druggie looking, smart-alec female, sitting in the floor behind the counter, Making jealous remarks about the store owner flirting with me, WHO WAS STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO MY BOYFRIEND! At any rate, He swore he was just the best in town because he sold me this coil for 14.00, and it would last over a month... My gutt told me other wise.. But my craving for my vape essentially won. So I bought it. Late that night/early morning I go to smoke my vape And it reads "No COIL applied" Early next morning, embarrassed to let Steven and the other fine gentlemen at Payless Smoke Shop know I had used another shop,,,, I walked in with a filthy mess that was my torn up 150$ vape... I went this morning to buy some cigarettes tubes and Rolling tobacco.The cashier there handed me a bag of Rolling tobacco for $18.99 (Super Value all natural tobacco-cherry flavor) and cigarettes tubes for $3.99.When he rang his cash register and asked for $36 and some change in Total. !?!?So,I was talking to him about the difference between All Sins....like stealing and lying....they are both sins but stealing is more severe then lying.??!! I paid for my purchase.While I wasl leaving the store and walking back home.I looked at the bag of Rolling tobocco saying $18.99 and a cigarettes tube box for $3.99 ?!?? that must be around $25.00....???!!! I went back and asked that he over charged me???!....And the bag of tobacco was only $18.99 ??!? I go here allllll the time and only have an issue with one person here. I don't know his name, but he's the young dude who waxes his eyebrows. I went earlier today to check out a tobacco product that I always get and I left. I just came back right now and had my husband go in and grab something. He came out, upset that the guy was rude and had no reason to be. Basically told him he doesn't want his business. Told us he is the owner (when we know damn well he isn't), was rude and disrespectful, and totally lacked customer service. Since we've had issues with moldy products, we like to check the packaging before we purchase to make sure it's not stale; but for some reason, he had a huge issue with it this afternoon. People won't keep coming back when they feel belittled at an establishment. A lot of our friends go here, but after today, I'll be sure to guide them to a different shop. It's a shame that our favorite store has a thorn in it's side. read more

I used to think this was a cool smoke shop but i just came out with a new piece and the guy stays it is very good glass and won't break. Literally i go out the door and the bag falls not a mere 1 meter and the piece breaks. I go back in since he saw it happenand says since it didn't happen in the store he can't do anything. " im not the owner" he said . wtf. This is how this place is run. I literally just threw 17.99 away 5 seconds after buying it. Worst shop ever.
