He helped us find the width and color of wood plank we were interested in. We went with a 7" wide white oak and love the way it turned out. They laid down samples of all stain/sealer options we were interested in so we could see them and choose before re-sanding them out and finishing the whole floor with the one we liked best. We liked the raw wood color before anything was applied. So, we opted for a white stain and matte sealer and the finished product looks almost exactly like the raw wood. We opted to have the baseboards removed and reinstalled and those look good too. Overall, I would highly recommend Brendan and his company Rocky Mountain Flooring & More.

The cost was completely reasonable, especially given the abbreviated timeframe, and I wouldn't change a single thing about my experience with them. I would (and will) use them again, I will recommend them to everyone I know, and I hope everyone reading this will use them. So, my situation was this: I own a house in Kaysville that I rent out. It was vacant, and it was time to install carpet. Problem is, I live in Colorado and didn't have all the measurements, and would only be able to be in Kaysville for about 5 days. I called Johnson's on Friday, 10 June, and told them I would be in town 16-19 June. I let them know I had a video walkthrough of the house that might be able to give them a rough idea of the layout. I sent it to them. On Friday, and then again on Monday, they confirmed that they would absolutely be able to do this for me (I was more than a little worried only because another company had been saying for weeks they would be able to do it, and then on the 10th said they couldn't). On Tuesday I called to let them know I would actually be in town Wednesday the 15th, and they said I could come in and we could get started. Wednesday morning I went into the store for the first time, and the crew came out to measure. Long story short, by Wednesday night I had brand new, beautiful, professionally installed carpet throughout my entire house at a very, very reasonable price. The work crew was flexible and determined to get everything done that day and the office staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and flexible to find a carpet that would work and get it all completely resolved in a day. To review the timeline: Friday afternoon - first contact with Johnson via phone with huge request. Wednesday morning - first visit to office and initial house measurement. Wednesday night - Ta-da, everything is completely done to perfection, and Johnson's has a loyal customer for life.

We were moving out so I intentionally cleaned prior to their arrival to make sure they could do "final-touch" work for our new renters, as the house was already empty and pre-cleaned before they started. When I asked the question, they responded that "their employees stay busy during their time at our property and that they care..." That's great and all but "busy work" doesn't mean that the consumer will get the quality of work they are paying for as promised by their service level agreement. I now have to hire another company to come out and "finish the job." I might as well have driven down the 15 freeway and tossed a thousand-one dollar bills out the window. I hope this company changes its business model to be more customer and performance-focused. Take this as a warning, ask the hard questions before you entertain their work offerings. Blinds, baseboards, the whole shebang in three hours - a deep clean allegedly. I noticed a couple of things, asked if they cleaned. The answer was yes, which I clearly knew wasn't the case. I was in the middle of conference calls and didn't have time to police their work until I took a quick lunch break and was so irritated I decided to get out my Swiffer and Clorox wipes. You can imagine how unhappy I was. Floor wasn't done. Countertops still dirty. Baseboards not done. Glass not done. Stove not wiped. Went to the living room and it started all over again. Dirty blinds.The photos speak for themselves. I reached out with photos within an hour of the gals leaving to express how disappointed and unacceptable this is, got a text response an hour+ later asking if they could call tomorrow to talk about the situation and schedule a time in the future for it to be fixed. Wow. Excellent customer service. I hired them for help because I'm busy and they had great reviews, waited three weeks for an appointment and ended up having to clean my house on my own anyway and also lost $500 in the process. $83.33/hr per person for this? Perhaps I need to start a cleaning business. Hate to provide this feedback to a small business but you can't be operating this way, though it seems like there's really no rush to correct any issues. Canceling all future maintenance visits I'd signed up for as well. Hard pass for me.
