Closing on our house, the sellers thought the property managers had cleaned the carpets in the home. Our child is allergic to cats and when his allergies went in to overdrive, we knew we needed a quick solution. We called Doug with Payneless. He gave us a very competitive bid and a good timeframe to come to our home in northern Utah. He was very thorough in the cleaning, used special lighting to look for "hot spots" and was able to show us just what a poor job the previous company had done (or didn't do as it may be.) He took his time and did it right. He also pointed out some water staining in the carpet we had not seen and are able to remedy with the home seller. Truly looking out for his customer. I have had Doug cleaning my carpets for several years. He is very responsive when I call to schedule and very pleasant on the phone. His prices are comparable to all the other cleaners. When he showed up he is always very professional and does a walk thru to see what needs to be done and to address any problem areas. After doing some research on the web, yelp, google reviews, and from family members I decided to try Payneless. The odd thing is I called a place named, "Price is Right Carpet Cleaning" but Payneless showed up at the door. The message I left on their voice mail did state it is two companies so it wasn't too surprising, just an FYI. I did not ask what that was all about but both places had excellent reviews. I called on a Wednesday and he was able to come on a Friday, on my day off. Total time took just over 1 hour to clean the stairs, family room, and 2 bedrooms. The finished cleaning was surprising. All the carpet was restored and looked new and the stains I thought would be permanent were all gone. I forgot to take before pictures but did after. He said he was unsure if the carpet would look new again but it did because we have a high quality nylon carpet. Depending on the carpet type will depend on how it looks in the end. We were told we could start moving furniture with legs back within two hours but we decided to get a hotel for the night just to be sure. I think we would have been OK but we wanted a small staycation anyway. The next morning it was totally dry and still looked new. It has been a week now and it still looks good. read more

Doug did an outstanding job on the 6 carpeted rooms of my house. He went above and beyond to help me. The results speak for themselves. I have a 6 month old puppy and she has some medical issues so there were more "accidents" to clean than I ever expected to deal with owning a dog. In addition, the house is wall to wall white carpeting. The carpet now looks new again. Doug is very personable. He is well spoken, polite, and hard working. Actually I am a professional carpet cleaner, however I only started my business a couple years ago.
