    Campsite before the snow storm
    Katie M.

Loved this place ! We actually stayed here for thanksgiving! Originally we were scheduled to go to showlow - but due to the snow storm we decided to try this place out since our toyhauler was already loaded . It's just what you need on a camping trip. Close to good restaurants ( tinys/Culver's) I mean you are literally on the middle of payson! The bathrooms super clean , the showers super hot and nice /clean... We stayed three nights here and on day 2 we got 8 inches of snow!!! What a surprise! I had no issues at check in:) We don't typically rv camp- we like to take our toyhauler into the actual forest , but this was perfect!! It's nice to not have to worry about turning the generator on in the middle of the night, or worrying if your going to run out of water on a camping trip:) The playground is just 3 swings and a big tire . The basketball hoop is just basically what it is ... just some asphalt with a hoop. But you can play around the world ...

Location is nice and convenient to town/nearby restaurants. The grounds are well kept. The tent sites are small and close together, but the setup is very functional. The day we stayed here, it rained hard for a couple of hours; the tent sites are so flat that the water just stood. It was not draining, so it became a pretty miserable experience after that. Check in was easy and what I love most is the bathrooms with free hot showers! I will be back, but better prepared.

Love this place. Everyone here has been very accommodating. Very clean. They have a heated pool. Laundry mat that is 100% better than Payson Laundry mat. Here at the campground, you can sit inside the office on their comfy furniture and watch TV. Also they close at 6p on Sunday.

Large sign and easy to find

There are some reviews for this site that had issues with the owner and the cancellation policy etc. I had no issues...the owner, Michael, was very up front and stated the policy before I made the payment. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Jerry is one of the hands that help with all sorts of things and even shows you to your site to ensure other trailers are safe and spots you if needed to help keep your trailer safe. The RV Park is easy to find, well maintained with decent amenities. If you're looking for an RV Park that is more secluded like camping I would look elsewhere. This park is less than a mile from a Starbucks and across the street from a hotel and fast food restaurant. They allow campfires as long as you have a metal fire ring. If you don't you can rent one for your stay at a flat rate of $5. The standard sites are the pull through and the deluxe sites are the back in which are larger and more private. Unfortunately there are only 7 or so of the deluxe sites available for daily rental because most of them are for year round storage. So we ended up in a pull through - site 19A - now I thought I was being slick and asked for the end site thinking it would be more private and have more room. Not the case, some of the pull through sites actually face each other because of where the hook ups are so when we got neighbors it was a little awkward. Knowing what I know now I would ask for site 18 or one of the deluxe sites (which you have to reserve far enough in advance because they go quick) but we would definitely stay here again.

    So it's only for Rvs?

They do have tent sites and something called teepee rentals. Call them at (928)472-2267.

The host called us after our booking and suggested two other sites that would work better for us, which we appreciated.
