I called regarding a main line stoppage that was causing a backup in my downstairs restroom. The representative who handled my call was professional and empathetic, and she was able to schedule a plumber to be dispatched that same day. To my surprise, I received a text notification with a tracking map within just a few hours. Shortly after, I received a call from Jerry letting me know he was on his way. I was incredibly impressed by the prompt communication and efficiency of your team. When Jerry arrived, he quickly assessed the situation and showed a determination that nothing would stand in his way. Within a few minutes, he already had a shovel in hand, digging near the septic tank and lines. He walked back and forth to the residence a few times troubleshooting the situation. He quickly determined the location of the stoppage and got to work. While digging near the inlet, Brandon, a 2nd plumber arrived without being called. Good thing he did, because his help came in handy. He said he sensed a disruption in the force! That was hilarious! Brandon and Jerry worked together seamlessly with the same goal in mind, to get to the bottom of this stoppage. I admired their work ethic, their teamwork, and positive attitudes. I made sure to provide them with a cold lemonade as they were determined to locate the stoppage location. They went above and beyond, marking the septic lid location and gluing part of the main line previously left unsecured. They reminded me of my late father, no matter what the problem was and what it took, showing up to save the day! Jerry and Brandon, thank you so much for your honest work, your empathetic demeanor for me not having plumbing for 41 hours prior to you arriving. You truly saved the day!

Never heard of Bryan or Small Beginnings but was in a pickle and reached out to see if they could help me and my clients out. Bryan (owner?) seemed nice enough on the phone and said he could make it happen, which I was very grateful for. He said he'd charge a $250 fee to get me "to the front of the line" so we could close on time. No issue there, totally understood the extra fee and appreciated that he was willing to help us in a pinch. That's about where anything positive with Small Beginnings ended. Bryan did the inspection. He provided the report. We should have been good to go from there. Unfortunately, the report was full of confusing data that caused everything to come to a screeching halt!!! For starters, he marked "Operational" on the report, not "Operational With Concerns". Normally this is great news. The problem with this, though, is that he then proceeded to hand write in multiple concerns about the system on the report. What?!!! He marked that the system was "watertight", but then he proceeded to write in two different places on the report that there were leaks. What??!! As you can imagine, this confused everyone who read his report, including the buyer of the home. We sent the report to the company that installed the unit (it was only a year old!) and they were equally confused by Bryan's report. They deal with septic tanks for a living! THEY were confused. Due to the lack of clarity on the report, the buyer would not close until the repairs were addressed. The problem was, nobody knew what repairs actually needed to be made. The closing date was pushed back (making the $250 we paid to rush things a total waste of money). My client reached out to the installer and he confirmed that he would go out and address the issue. He told her that it wasn't really an issue and that it was operating exactly the way it should be operating, and that Bryan was incorrect in the way he drafted his report, but he would go out and confirm no issues existed. There would not be a charge for this. Bryan then told my client that he would take care of the repairs, which she was grateful for. Her thought was that clearly Bryan was the only person who understood what repairs supposedly needed to be made, so having him address them made sense. He did not disclose that he would be charging anything more to do this. Had he been transparent and done so, she would have promptly told him that she would just have the installer go out at no cost. He didn't even go on site, just made some calls and had one of his guys go out. After closing, my client noticed that Bryan had charged an ADDITIONAL $250 to make these so-called "repairs". When I reached out to him about it and asked why it was not disclosed, he called my client and gave her a hard time and talked about how he "moved mountains" for us to get the inspection done, blah, blah, blah. He would not refund the excess $250. So to recap: Bryan says he can get it done so we can close on time and charges me $250 to do so. Bryan writes a terrible report that is confusing even to a seasoned septic company owner, which causes us to miss our closing date. Bryan then proceeds to price gouge and take advantage of the situation by charging my client an ADDITIONAL $250 to go out and fix the mess that his lack of communication and professionalism caused in the first place. And when this was presented to him and a request for a $250 refund was made (I'd argue a $500 refund was justified given that he failed to get it done in time to close as promised), he gave me an attitude and refused. Bottom line, this guy has ZERO integrity and I would NOT do business with him! We were grateful that Bryan was willing to "move mountains" to help us get this thing closed in time, I understood and had no issue with paying him an extra $250 due to the rush. What I DO have a problem with is a business that fails in the way they deliver what was paid for, that failure causes delays and additional issues, and then that same business isn't humble enough to acknowledge that they caused the issue and then has the audacity to CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL FEE to clean up the mess their lack of attention to detail caused in the first place! SERIOUSLY? This was the first and DEFINITELY THE LAST TIME I will be using the services of Small Beginnings. Given that non-approved extra fees were added that were not disclosed up front, and the terrible attitude that Bryan displayed when his lack of professionalism and integrity was called out, I'd caution anyone looking for septic services to think twice before using this company. If not for being in a rush, I would have done more research about Small Beginnings. Based on feedback I've received from others in my industry about SB since, I realize I was doomed the minute Bryan answered my call!

They took them outside and cleaned for 2 hours; included the throw pillows and an ottoman. The furniture looks like new, and the job was absolutely worth the price. First off, -Before- I even got a quote from Sunshine I was very clear that my mortage had the money from the insurance because it is over 14k and that they are legally obligated to hold it, check for quality of work after *it's done* then they release funds. I told this to the quote provider Micheal through email and with the project manager Juan several times. I told him that projects needed to be completed in full, "Floor fully replaced", ex then we would have the Mandatory inspection and once the job was verified as done, we would need to send them an invoice for the work completed and then they would release payment and that would take 14-20 days depending. I discussed this with the project manager several times, four different times to my recollection Your project manager stopped in the MIDDDLE of the repairing my floor, leaving my kitchen less than half done. Then refused to send me an invoice for the work completed to give to the mortgage company, the mortgage company refused to pay because the WORK WAS NOT COMPLETED. Please just stop lying, it's so unprofessional. I am blown away that a company could even operate with such practices. But honestly, what should I have expected from such a shady experience. Your project manager never called me back, he sent me an email asking me, "When we were going to pay." And I told him several times, I think three, for him for just a quote on the work completed and each time he sent me a bill for the full amount. Which again, as I'd said before, during and after the process. We could not use. I even reached out to the finance department about the bill and got no response. He did not *call me every day* as I expect people reading this review will even be able to understand how disingenuious that is, because calling every day would just be unrealistic. I just did not respond? Even though my house was without a kitchen , living room and there was a hole in the exterior wall? What would be my motivation for not paying for notresponding?? That I like my home being in disarray and not repaired with a total lack of amentities? Removing the Subfloor, Removing the bellypaper & insulation beneath the house and replacing it. Quoted full price for that was $23,000.00 The workers then came in & removed 120 square feet of floor,replaced only 120sq feet, they removed the insulation beneath the home and that was all.The bill given to me by Sunshine restoration for only that work was 18,000.With less than half the work done. On the bill there was even an 409.00 charge for "Relocation of water filter" My water filter is an under the sink filter and to move it, you simply lift it off the nail and put it on the floor. 409.00 to move it?That's insane. We were originally quoted 23,000.00 for all the work that needed to be completed, they finished 1/3rd of it,stopped in the middle of a piece & then gave us a price of $18,000.00 a price 3x than previously quoted. **Also please take note on how in my photos of our interactions backing up my claims, I have blacked out the names and email addresses of the people involved so as not to dox them in an unprofessional manner. **

What made it even more disappointing is that the carpet was only about eight months old and wasn't heavily soiled, yet I saw very little improvement after the cleaning. I honestly feel like I could have gotten better results using my own carpet cleaner, but I hired a professional because I was moving and didn't have time to do it myself. I Before the technician left, I pointed out that some stains were still visible and that the carpet seemed much too wet. I asked if she could go over the stained areas again, but she told me she had already put the hose away. Instead, she sprayed additional chemicals on the stains and left. In hindsight, I wish I had insisted that the carpet be properly extracted again because it remained wet for days and the chemical smell was very strong. I've had my carpets professionally cleaned by other companies before and never had this experience. I chose this company because the price was lower, but unfortunately, I ended up regretting that decision. Based on the results and how wet the carpet was left, I would not use them again.
