Steve designed and built remote sensing and control for it as well as three garage doors; we know their status at a glance and can control any of them with a button or our phone. If we are coming home from a trip, the home will be warmed up, water heater working, driveway lights on, etc. All this in addition to a fine security system and whole-house sound. Steve and his helper were always prompt, respectful of us and our residence, and quick to listen to our concerns and questions. You will not be disappointed!

Brinks is very good at charging for "services". They are also very good at providing information…read morethat is not correct. We found out a few weeks ago that our tenant had cut the wires to our alarm panel in April 2023 so there was no connection to Brinks. Yet Brinks happily collected our service fees totaling $2079.84 for three years while rendering NO service. They jeopardized our fire insurance which requires a centrally-monitored fire alarm. There was no such monitoring for 3 years. When making a call for service to replace a part that the tenant broke in 2023, we were told that the part would be shipped to Wired Contracting Inc. This (also using the name AZ Alarm Co.) is the same company from our original contract in 2016. When we asked to have the part sent to AZ Alarm, the reliable service in the contract, we were told that they are not an affiliate of Brinks. We contacted AZ Alarm with which we have the contract and were told that the same person owns Wired Contracting Inc. and AZ Alarm. Their offices are at the same address. We were told that they are not affiliated with Brinks who has taken many of their customers by misleading information. We then contacted Brinks again to find out where they were shipping the needed part. This time we were told that the part would be shipped to AZ Alarm! Another contact with AZ Alarm resulted in their saying that they do not accept shipments from Brinks and that the part would most likely be sent to Brinks' local technician. (On the day of the appointment, we learned that this is exactly what happened.) Do not trust Brinks! They duped us into another 2-year contract when we called to have the system repaired in late April 2026. We are demanding that the contract be cancelled and asking for a refund of the fees collected for NO service and our jeopardized fire insurance.

Apparently when I…read moreextended my contact for 3 years, a month later they offered me a new price that said extend it for 2 years, so I click that one so I could have the new price for a 2 year term. Instead, they said it added the 2 year on top of the 3 year, so now I have a 5 year contact (2023, so 29 months left). Management is "not accessible" to customers. Run from Brinks Home! Terrible company that doesn't care about their customers.

I hired this company because of all the good testimonies but these are all for small projects with mention to change orders later on. Watch out for additional charges. Very unprofessional, the owner had the audacity to rate my business..David never hired us to work on his roof. Poor quality, dishonest...waste your time. I do not recommend. Be careful with this company. He will not honor anything unless it's in the "BLUEPRINTS or CONTRACT" | personally dealt with the owner of this business. He will not take responsibility for anything he negotiates unless it is in writing. So make sure your estimate/contract has the final price and excludes any hidden fees or limits to change orders later on AND in writing.
