She took 30 minutes to get to me as she was doing that treatment on some guy who said, "I really don't notice a difference when I leave" and then they chatted for about 10 minutes at the front desk. THEN she went in her office and eventually came to where I was to go over every possible way I'd have to pay if insurance didn't. I actually stood my ground for a change and kept reiterating that I wanted nothing that wasn't covered. They kept insisting it was a "Consultation" and used that machine on me anyway. The doctor did nothing except have me turn my head and poke on my back. He did tell the woman at the front desk as I was leaving that would be $79. The office manager did say they were going to put it through insurance first. Of course she also told me they were going to have to take a loss on my visit. Not. My. Problem. I feel as though it's kind of a scam. It's a "fancy" name and it's actually in an old house that's up for sale. I was supposed to go back the next day with my MRI disc and decided they were only going to find a way to try and charge me more than I should have to pay for a basic visit. Go if you want, but don't say you weren't warned.
