In those few cases where we did need additional care, Dr Peltier insured we received that quickly and positively. I am now 88 and still playing golf, and I credit Dr Bill Peltier's care as a significant reason for my good health. He not only cared for us, but he taught us good health practices. His philosphy of care for each person is also lived daily by his staff. At our first visit, we were first impressed by the then staff's enthusiasm and support and now Debbie and Rebekah carry those virtues forward. We have now moved away and continue our care elsewhere, but we highly recommend Dr Peltier's chiropractic care to anyone seeking a healthier and more vigorous lifestyle. It took a long time, but he got my back in better shape. I was a regular patient; so was my mom. My mom smoked from the age of 16 to 25. And after working in an office for almost 38 years, she was subjected to 2nd-hand smoke. She was on oxygen the last 2 years of her life & was only 64 years old when she passed away from COPD. I took Mom to see Dr. Black no more than 3 weeks before she died. She couldn't walk a great distance even when she was hooked up to the oxygen. When her adjustment was done, she couldn't get to a chair in the waiting area quick enough; she was already out of breath. Dr. Black, laughing, told her to "slow down, what's the hurry!" I was somewhat stunned by his callous remark. Two weeks later back in TX I was notified my mom had died the same day she was admitted to the hospital. When I flew back to Dayton to settle the estate, I called Dr. Black's office & left a voicemail about Mom's death. After being his patient for 20+ years & Mom also being a patient, I thought I would have gotten a phone call or a card from him--I got NOTHING. There are SO MANY very qualified chiropractors close to where you live, regardless of where that is. My recommendation would be to find one that truly cares about his/her patients and demonstrates that with each visit. In other words, find someone different.

Be aware: any one of several offices can answer your call, thus apparently they have no impetus to be efficient or decent - you can never know to whom you are talking. There is pretty much consistently poor service on the phone. Then a week after paying a bill for spa services which included a tip, which they asked me at the checkout if I wanted to add - that was a first at a spa for me also - anyway, after paying in full, they sent me a bill for a $20 tip! So I called! Waited 10 minutes on hold before they came back and said it was removed from my account, no apology, just par for the course regarding their impersonal, cold service (though this one was not rude). I will have to drive over there to double-check in person before I believe they won't send me another bill for a $20 tip.

I walked in and stood at the desk for a good ten seconds before the staff greeted me. I could hear them chit chatting about something that was clearly not a work conversation. The nurse called me back and she must have been having a bad day. She seemed really disgruntled and annoyed. I told her what I was there for - I'd mentioned two concerns when I set the appointment, but a couple more things had come up since setting the appointment about a month prior. The doctor came in and immediately told me she'd only treat me for two of my concerns today and I'd have to come back another day for my additional concerns. I was really taken aback as I've never had a doctor refuse to treat me because of time constraints. After the doc left the room in a hurry, I asked the nurse why I couldn't be treated for all of my concerns today. She told me the office scheduled me a 10 minute appointment for just one concern. I told her I had mentioned two concerns when I set up the appointment. She then told me that setting appointments is not her job. I felt snubbed. It seems to me that these folks are in the business to make money rather than to help people. Bad first impression, I won't return nor recommend them.
