A few day's before my trip I was told that my sitter was unavailable. They told me to look into another service otherwise they would accommodate me with two different sitters-- even though I booked them well before hand. My mistake was using them anyway...they did not give me enough notice to be able to switch company's. My experience: The first day my sitter arrived 30 minutes late. The next day my sitter cancelled. I was unable to go snowmobiling and see a near by hot spring. I was also unable to get a refund for these activities due to a last minute cancellation. 3rd day I was sent a different sitter-Kemi. Who was very nice compassionate and brought her own toys. She was super sweet. She is the only reason for the 2 stars for this company otherwise they deserve a 0 The biggest problem is that there is no repercussions for the company for cancellations. But there is a repercussion for you. If a child is sick and you do not provide 48 hours notice then you are still charged. The company charges 100 for booking. Then 24/hr for one child. This is a premium price for s*** service.

I contacted Guardian Angels and KayCe was super responsive to my request. She called me and was super friendly and we spoke briefly on the phone about what I needed. She then texted to confirm and we had a fantastic babysitter, Nicole, watch our two boys so we could enjoy a few dinners out. Will definitely use them again.

Have used this day care a couple of times now, once on a recent ski trip the week before Christmas…read morethis year and another time for my older kid back in 2020 before the pandemic. It's located on the top floor of the ski school building next to the Albion Lodge and is truly a super convenient option for families at Alta with children. Both times we had wonderful stays with great communication. Top notch facility that the owner personally oversees along with her facility in Cliff Lodge at Snowbird. Rate may feel expensive at $162 a day, but this actually compares favorably to most destination ski resort day care options that often are $200 to $230 a day now (if not more). We'd use them again for sure if we are in need of care while up skiing at Alta in the next year or two. Really glad to see they are still operating post COVID-19 as the child care situation for ski resorts is honestly a huge mess now (many have closed and/or are very low capacity).

The baby started to cry and she just adjusted the baby and she fell asleep! Nap time and that was it. I was amazed. My son is very clingy and she has managed to get him out for sledding and to ski lessons while keeping us posted. The space is really beautiful, Scandinavian in feel with a fort, jump thing, fish tank, Dino truck toys, paw patrol, guitars...what a relief it was to leave our son there so we could ski. We've been to a daycare at another resort relatively nearby and it was nothing like this. Very impressive and highly recommend. This spot is a gem.

I'm a single mother of four young children, and I was led to believe by staff over the phone that…read moreDWS would "cover almost all or all" of my childcare costs before I paid the registration fees. Based on that assurance, I paid hundreds of dollars to register my children. After DWS processed my case, I learned that I would still owe about $900 out of pocket each month--something I had clearly stated I could not afford. When I contacted the center to explain the situation, I was told that the registration fees were non-refundable, even though the only reason I paid them was because I was told DWS would likely cover nearly everything. The whole experience left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. I understand policies are policies, but when people's livelihoods and children's care are involved, transparency matters. If you're considering this center and plan to use DWS assistance, make sure you know exactly what your coverage will be before you pay anything--don't rely on verbal reassurance. I sincerely hope they improve how they communicate with struggling families in the future, so others don't end up in the same situation I did. --Gabby
