When I showed up they would barely even acknowledge me and after telling me someone would come out to look at my bike in a few minutes, I sat outside waiting for one of their employees for about 15 minutes. When I went inside again to see what was taking so long they were working on another bike and everyone was standing around completely ignoring me. Needless to say I eft and found another shop that took my bike right away and fixed the problem. Spadafora's has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They insisted on redesigning the cover. When I showed up to pick up the cover and my boat they tried to charge me more money than the originally agreed upon price. Glad I had it in writing. Their new design did not work well, had ponding of water. They did offer to fix it, but that required leaving the boat with them again, which was a significant amount of driving for me and killed the rest of my boating season. After they "fixed" the cover, I was disappointed to discover that they did not modify it so it matched the design of my original cover. They only added a couple more snap poles in the corners which are very difficult to put into place. In addition, they stole two of my original cover poles and vents for reasons that baffle me and have not returned them. You have been warned.

We switched an oil account to Haffner/Energy North from another local provider. We also had them…read moreinstall a new Oil furnace/boiler. While oil delivery service has been satisfactory, the install was overpriced and raised questions about the integrity of Haffner's/Energy North. We had a proposal from our former dealer to install a Buderus boiler based system. I asked the Haffners team for a proposal and price to install a system of equal quality and especially efficiency. Haffner's proposed to install a Peerless boiler based system. In multiple discussions, that system was represented to be of the same quality and efficiency as the Buderus. Those representations proved to be not accurate. I later learned that while Peerless is a very well regarded brand, it is of lesser quality and lower efficiency than the Buderus. This first came to light when one of the Haffner's technicians who installed the Peerless system acknowledged those facts in conversation after the install. I was very disappointed and immediately raised concerns about the inaccurate statements and the lack of value in what Haffner's had installed. They "met the price" of the Buderus proposal [their original price was higher for the Peerless system]. When I challenged Haffner's supervisory staff, they offered a $100 dollar price accommodation. Given the discrepancy in value and efficiency, that did not begin to make up for the inaccurate statements we relied on in accepting their proposal. This was a system for a 95 year old widow, they should have been more honest. I ultimately spoke with a neutral party about the comparison between the two boilers - a 30+ years in the business plumbing and heating professional who has worked in my home [the system at issue was for my elderly mother] for two decades. He said while Peerless is a good quality unit, it is not at the level of the Buderus. He said in his entire career, he never had experienced a defect in a Buderus device. He also explained the difference in efficiency. In the peerless boiler, heat is transferred in a single pass around a heated chamber. The medium to be heated in the Buderus system passes three times, transferring more heat for each unit of oil burned. That information only increased my disappointment with what Haffner's's/Energy North represented to me and how they treated my mother once the inaccuracies and unfairness were brought to their attention. Conclusion: Good service and low oil prices. But pay attention to what is represented about equipment quality and efficiency. In retrospect, we should have stuck with the competing local dealer and installed the Buderus based system.

They directed me to this higher horsepower trimmer in order to efficiently maintain a new 4 acre property. The "weed whacking" job needed to be done the same day so they expedited the purchase process and provided a hands on " How to Use Demo " in the parking lot. Off I went and around 6 PM I ran into some equipment difficulties regarding the trim line spooling properly. I went both to Stihl's hard copy manual and corporate website to try & fix the machine. I strongly believe companies & store owners must stand behind their product. Therefore at the same time I sent off an email to the two new store owners , who gave me their business cards at time of purchase - nice touch ! At approximately 8PM that same night I received a return email from one of the owners of Seacoast Power taking responsibility, apologizing for my inconvenience and offering some solutions for my equipment problem. I stopped by first thing the next morning and met with the head of their service department where I received a hands on demonstration on how to spool the trim line properly. Net/ net the machine was fine , I needed some more training ! And to end this factual sales and service experience the owner of the store emailed me two days later to make sure all was operating properly.
