This is significantly better than high speed rotation balancing. Based on previous recommendations from people I've known, I contacted the company via phone call and made an appointment to have the car estimated for the wheels of my '87 Mercedes 560SL to be powder-coated. These are the original wheels painted from the factory. They did not require straightening or reconditioning prior to normal powder-coating prep and application. I would like to note also that Joe, upon inspection, noticed that the balance weights on the rims were the factory originals and was so thoughtful to keep the car as original as possible, kept them on the rims during the high speed balance process! That, alone, should tell you what you need to know about Joe! He gave me a very fair estimate and timeline for the work to be completed. Needless to say, the whole procedure was seamless! I had damaged the edge of my alloy wheel on my car. Previously Nick and crew had repaired two of my other wheels immaculately, so I naturally took this wheel to him for repair. Unfortunately in my opinion this time things were not repaired to the standards I had before. It took 3 weeks to get my wheel back, upon inspection I found that there were a ton of bubbles in the clearcoat on the vanes of the wheel. I brought the wheel back and the paint issue was rectified, but this time I inspected the area I damaged. When I had first got an estimate, I was told that metal would have to be welded on the damaged area then machined down with the CNC lathe they used. But looking at my wheel, I saw that they had simply used a file to grind a bevel sideways reaming off the damaged area, but causing a large divot in the edge. I went back again, but this time I said that I had specific expectations given what i was told and Nick first tried to deny that the area repaired by him then I showed him that the divot had clearcoat over it, it had to have been done by him, then this was followed by all kinds of denial and excuses. At this point in time I do not feel confident in their business. read more

I had recently unfortunately incurred some accidental wheel damage to both passenger side wheels. After showing Nick Cummings (owner) pictures of the wheel Prior to driving over there he had confirmed to me that the wheel was basically never going to be repaired 100% due to where the unfortunate wheel damage occurred. So while waiting for a spot I had ordered a new wheel. It had taken a bit to get in as well as these guys were equally busy and being on a medical leave at the time I was not really pressed but just making sure in the end everything would be done right. Well sure enough the wheel came in.. he removed the tire from the damage wheel, roadforced, and ceramic'd the front wheel and repaired the rear wheel and re-ceramic'd as well as repaired the other old wheel .. as if that was not expected, he further did all that work in good faith towards my hospital expenses on the house, I literally was beside myself!.. standing there fully prepared to pay and instead he refused. Not only do I wholeheartedly recommend this place, but I have to equally stand behind a business owner that puts all interests of his clients close to his chest and cares not only about the service of their vehicles, but the well being of his clients. Now clearly I have used him for awhile, and I can not imagine using anyone else but this is exactly the type of business when you are looking for great care and service they go above and beyond. As a result of having to choose between curb or the tiny enraged man who decided I was clearly in his way whilst turning, I chose the curb. Note, unclear if enraged man was in fact tiny, so not wanting to tempt fate, curb it was. The resulting damage was in fact really, really bad. Gave them a quick call, popped over and a few 'Oh, that's really bad' declarations later they gave it to me straight. The could indeed fix it, but for the cost of a new rim it wouldn't be worth it, not to them, but to me. Honestly I have no idea how well they fix rims but damn if this isn't amazing customer service.
