Peter did a great job for us. We were updating the shared back stairwell in our condo building, and wanted Peter to come in and replace the treads, install new base boards, repaint., and do some general repairs. As he dug into the job, he discovered that the stairs were built so that each tread was sandwiched between the studs in the wall, and ripping them out would be a much bigger job than he had originally scoped for. Peter adjusted the quote, and we came to an agreeable solution after just a day. Throughout the job, Peter was very responsive, usually checking in and giving us updates daily, which was helpful for a space being used by multiple residents. This past summer PCH construction worked on our kitchen remodel. Peter (the owner) and his son did much of the work themselves. From the first time we met Peter, in May, he was very professional and gave us great advice when discussing the plan for our new kitchen. He took his time to answer all of our questions and gave us suggestions on which retailers to use for cabinets and other materials. He was very prompt in answering any email or phone call. He was always available when we needed to contact him. During the project Peter was very meticulous and made sure to ask us before major items were complete. When we needed items such as a sink or cabinet pulls, Peter gave us excellent recommendations for which companies to use that would have the best price. He made sure that the kitchen was up to his high standard as well as ours. When we where not sure about a design decision Peter offered us his advice or another option. When the project was complete there were a few minor things we wanted changed or fixed and Peter did not hesitate to make the adjustments. He truly wants the customer to be happy and satisfied.
