After a horrible experience here initially, I spoke with Jack, a representative for this office. He offered to make up for the shoddy service and I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks later. The wait was typical, paperwork, ID, and and a few other questions. I was brought into the dr office, and was fairly impressed. He was thorough, caring, professional and educational. This is the first Req. I have received where the prescribing dr didnt seem like a quack or crackhead. Felt 100% legit. First time patient. I made my appointment online. The facility was nice and clean. Ample parking and the receptionist was very nice too. Filled out my paperwork and was promptly seen by Dr. Mendelsohn. He was thorough and asked me questions regarding my situation. After my examination, he offered his advice and also provided a tincture recipe, which I thought was very helpful. They also provide a follow up visit, free of charge. I really liked this doctor -- he's also a practicing anesthesiologist and pain management specialist, so he really knows what he's doing! If you're open to more traditional treatments, he does that as well. I was having a terrible muscle spasm, and he made time to do a trigger point injection on a Saturday. Saved my whole weekend. He's also just a nice guy, which, hey, bedside manner counts, right? It's good when doctors actually listen and care. You're probably like, come on dude just write my letter, because you're expecting the typical fly-by-night, but he's legit and he's going to actually talk to you about how to best treat your conditions. It's really helpful, if you're open to it. That's where the follow-ups come in -- he wants to check in and make sure it's working for you, and help you sort it if it's not. Everyone has to do a follow up a month after your initial visit. You might need to come back, or you might be able to call in. The follow-up is free, but if you don't do it in a timely fashion, then that's where the $25 fee comes in. read more

Came here today after not being happy with the cost of another Dr. Called in the AM and got a same-day appointment. The Dr was very stringent with his exam, made absolutely sure I needed cannabis before he recommended it and made it very clear he would turn me away if his opinion was that I did not need it. Also made it clear he needed records from my primary care physician or he'd revoke my recommendation - very professional and it's clear he's not out to just make money like many other places. He also recommended I have my primary Dr take a look at something since he actually found something abnormal related to my issue. I made an appointment and showed up at the facility on time and was told the doctor was running late. After sitting there feeling stupid for a half hour, I was then informed the doctor was not going to show up and they were trying to find a doctor that would do it on SKYPE. Their website advertises they give 'exceptional cannabis evaluations' and that 'appointments are recommended'. It also promises you will receive an 'in person consultation from a licensed doctor.' Instead, you are left to sit there hoping they can find a warm body to give you an evaluation via SKYPE. Is that exceptional service or even remotely what they promise? IT IS FALSE ADVERTISING & FRAUD. Then they told me the SKYPE doctor had not bothered to call them back, and it could be hours before they found someone. I walked out of there with nothing to show for all the time and gas I had wasted. Lastly, on their website they said it would be $35, but when you get there they try and charge you $45. You have to point out that is not what is advertised, and it does not say you need to bring a coupon when you make an appointment. I should not have been surprised. They allowed me to make an appointment online, but acted indignant that I had expected to see an actual doctor around the scheduled time. How stupid of me! Had I known they expected me to SKYPE with someone, I could have signed up for that service with a different provider from home. I did not have to drive to an office for that and waste my time sitting there like a fool. As far as I am concerned, they should be reported and closed down by the authorities for false advertising and medical fraud. read more
