I like this place everyone is friendly, they have basic knowledge, and explain things extremely well. This shop specializes in flower. Which means you're not buying a product that's been stomped on (processed). They pick the bud, trim it, give it a hug, and pack it in a sealed jar (or roll it). The prices are good, for what they're offering. Don't worry you're money is well spent here. what I like the most, about this shop is consistency. For instance, when I buy the black lotus straIn it taste and smells like black lotus. I feel like I smoked black lotus.. it's Like man! why can't everything be black lotus? You know how some shops sell mostly indica? This one sells them all: Sativa (on point) Hybrids (stellar) Indica (lots and lots of fire) My favorite strains are: Black Lotus, Jack kraken, and Chem Dog. They sell 1g prerolls, 5 pack prerolls, and flower in a jar...all versions are of the same quality (the prerolls are not a mixed up pile of left over trash) All you need is a rec it's not really a big deal to get one. This place is the go to place, if you enjoy smoking. To me everything else seems like a marketing ploy aimed at tourist. To anyone reading this try it out. This is the best collective I've been to, and I have been to a lot. They have a great selection of merchandise, in just about every category cannabis products come in. The employees are very nice and accommodating (I have really bad back problems and they are quick to bring me a chair that rolls around so I can take my time selecting). The bud tenders are very knowledgeable, and if they aren't familiar with the item I asked about, they ask the other employees. There's really nothing negative I can say about this place. If I could give it 0 stars I would they have a coupon for 5 free grams or a gram of wax as soon as you get there they make it clear you only can redeem it with a purchase but the coupon doesn't say that it states it's free. I was going to visit as I live in DTLA and this place is walking distance from my home. Before going inside, I took a photo of the signage that reads "Cannabal City" from the street outside as I thought it was kinda funny. Almost immediately a security guard rushed outside and started yelling at me that I'm not allowed to do that and I must be conspiring with someone else who took a photo earlier to case the place or something. I tried to calm him down and apologize, but he threatened to call the police on me unless I left (I never stepped onto the property. I was in the street outside the whole time). So tonight was our 1st visit here. We were looking for CBD oil for our cat who had a horrible vet visit earlier. The vet basically said she's old and dying. We decided to take her home and go holistic for her. We found out Lassens (over priced market) had the oil. We get there and a tiny bottle is $74, we said nope let's go to our shop. The shop we usually go to said they'll be out of oil for a couple weeks. So we jump on yelp to look for a shop that might have oil and found this one that's about a mile from our shop. They had the oil and I loved the name (cannibal killers are my favorites) loved the word play. My husband went in and loved the place, well secured with armed guards, employees very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely keep coming back. read more

I come in and get the same strain every time. And today I open my bag of crap. They must have switched the strain out looking to keep making the bigger bucks that the name brings in. I usually get the Illuminati which is a top shelf strain. And today I open my sack and it smelled like outdoor. My fault for not checking before they packaged it but I trusted it was going to be the same as always. My bad I guess. There's nothing really cool about this place that draws a crowd in but I guess that's what made my decision to come here. For the simple fact it really isn't bombarded with patients. Now I see why. They switch their stains and can't be trusted. Not to mention the budtenders are dull and boring. At least the receptionist is friendly. Needless to say I am done being a faithful customer to a collective that isn't faithful to my needs. I mean couldn't you just tell me that the strain isn't as consistent this time.
