I got fed up and went to the front and told him that I'm leaving. We had recently brought our dog in because she was urinating blood and they said nothing was wrong with her and sent her home and we discovered she has a very large swollen area on the right side of her ribs so we are concerned that they didn't notice that - Why are you accepting appointments? If you are not coming to visit your patient? I've been waiting an hour. This is unacceptable. We will not be back to this vet again.

Doctors are nice and highly qualifies, their assistance are highly trained as well, and in general the experience is a pleasant one for pets and owners. Our older yellow lab suddenly couldn't climb the steps up from our backyard. We were thinking he…read moremay have tried to jump up in the bed and fallen or somehow jacked up his hip or back. Dawg was in terrible pain--so I called around to vets we've used in the past. One vet said they'd "work us in" the next day but Dawg was howling and sobbing. I called BV Animal Hospital and they got us right in. The did lots of tests ($1100) and only found a slight bladder infection so they put him on an antibiotic and gave us medicine for pain. In a few days, he was much better. Their compassion for Dawg was great--a little pricey but for all they did, I understand it was fair. We now have baseline readings and level for our old boy and will continue going to BV Animal Hospital.
