The two employees are grouchy. When you attempt to redeem your free massage after ten paid, they…read moreraise the price to squeeze customers out of cash. To use a credit card, the fee is higher. This is opportunistic gouging as the credit card companies charge a PERCENTAGE, so a lower charge would have a lower fee, but this business charges five dollars more across the board. Here's how it makes no sense: Say your VISA card charges the merchant 3% on a $60 charge, that's $1.80 - not $5! And if the charge was lower, then you are getting gouged for using a credit card even more. In short, their unpleasant personalities and questionable business practices make what could be good business undesirable.

First I'll start with the positives and then get to why I gave one star…read more I've been here 7 times now and love the ladies that work here. You can't be modest, it is a traditional Chinese massage which is totally different than American places. But they truly have made my body heal with the type of massage they give, a fantastic deep tissue. My back was hurting again and I was having sciatic pain after moving, so I went back. First time ever I got a man...which I was okay with, until he got started. It was very painful, about 30 minutes in I finally told him it was too hard, he said "relax" and went harder. I now have fluid built up in between my shoulder blades where it's squishy from soft tissue damage. The solid bruise is starting to come through. I hurt so bad last night that I woke up at 2:30am and was up until 5am dealing with the back pain. I will go see the doctor after work because the fluid build up is scaring me. I've also been watching my urine to make sure it doesn't turn dark. Before I left he said "I hope your back won't be too sore." So he knew he stepped over the boundaries of massage. Also--this was the first time I've had him and he pulled the blanket completely off and had me completely naked laying on my front. I kept telling myself he is a professional and this is okay...but it is not okay. I feel violated today and very gross. It was the most unprofessional massage I've ever had.

I have suffered from paralyzing sciatica - where I literally lay on the sofa on my back for 2…read moreyears. The pain was the kind of pain that makes you throw up. NOTHING worked. During that time, I tried acupuncture, physical therapy, went to a chiropractor and finally had back surgery (which eliminated the pain for 6 months). After the surgery, I lived with limp and went in for as many steroid injections I would l get this past year. Mind you this was thousands of dollars. I finally found Becky Bartell online through a random search and thought I'd go in. She recommend Fascial Counterstrain. I had NO IDEA what that was but though - what the heck? Nothing else has worked. In three sessions, she COMPLETELY eliminated the pain. It was like magic. The first two times, she eliminated pain in the session but it came back but at a lesser degree each time. The third time - it just never came back. Unlike different types of therapy - fascial counterstain doesn't require you to stretch more - it's more about relaxing the muscles (that's about all I know). And it works. If you are suffering from chronic pain and tried everything else - I highly recommend giving Becky a call. Life is completely different without pain
