I consulted an osteopath who tried acupuncture, orthopedic surgeons who gave me injections and sent me to PT facilities, but nothing helped much. So imagine my surprise when my last bone density study showed an increase in my lumbar spine! I was amazed. I did some research and found that therapeutic massage can increase bone density and my MD concurred. Chase's fingers were like magnets that found tension and melted it away (at one point about 45 mins into my hour-long massage I felt a knot suddenly dissipate which I've never felt before, despite having had 50+ massages from other clinicians prior - high praise!) If you've ever had a massage where the therapist just KNOWS where to focus and intuits what your body needs, you know what I'm talking about. This was it. Chase also used warm stones and cupping and blading which he showed me prior to starting the massage. The background music started as a pop mix and transitioned into relaxing beats (if you have preferences for a different genre, let him know beforehand). Chase was knowledgeable about the muscles that were hurting, telling me what they were as well as a possible link to allergies - an unexpected but appreciated bonus of the visit. The practice is well-named, relief is definitely what I got and I'm very grateful. Will be back for more.

Updating my review in light of COVID --…read more The health spa is still open during COVID and is taking additional precautions to protect staff and customers. Staff and customers have to wear masks, they limit the amount of people allowed in the spa at one time, and they wipe down/clean and disinfect everything after each customer comes. I did a couples massage with my husband for 90 minutes with hot stone therapy and it was so nice. Even with wearing a mask it was still easy to relax and enjoy after all the stress 2020 has brought us all lol. Nina was my masseuse and my husband had Linda. Both ladies were very nice and attentive and did an amazing job! I told Nina I do a lot of computer work for my job, so she focused a lot on getting out the tension from my head, neck, shoulders, and lower back/sciatica/tailbone area since those are tender spots when you're working remotely from home on a computer all day Anyways, definitely would recommend to anyone looking to have a pamper/treat yourself day.
