I am so happy that I found Peace of Mind online for an anti aging facial. Over the last few years I have noticed some discoloration on my forehead and now a little around my eyes which I have just been covering with makeup. Online scheduling was easy, they have a website and then for what I wanted a phone number to text for scheduling availability. Marie messaged me right away with upcoming options and once confirmed I received an email confirmation. Leading up to my appointment I also got reminders. Walking in their salon it is so beautifully and peacefully decorated. Very relaxing. In my room we went over the procedure and things that she does and how she personally likes to work as well as that she has products that she can recommend but does not like to push anything upon her clients but that she will review what she uses. From looking at my face she could tell my main concern which of course I cannot think of the name but starts with a M and she reviewed that there are procedures she does that she has seen the best results if I choose to continue to come but that I also must take additional steps to protect my skin moving forward. With my dark skin I always was the "where is the oil?" type and had little concern for SPF. Well at 40... it is starting to show. Not that makeup cannot cover it but I am more into the aging gracefully part of my life now so don't want an inch thick of foundation on or will dye my hair. After a few moments to get comfortable, she returned to start and I was completely relaxed. She mentioned she would remain silent unless I wanted to talk which we did off and on and I did learn that this is a very family oriented business, which I love. I had mentioned that I had recently had shoulder surgery so she ensured it was okay to touch there and she could tell that specific muscles were tight and to ensure my physical therapists were working them and even offered information for her chiropractor that she knew dealt with it of I was interested. I thought was very generous and showed she had great concern for her clients. I didn't take the information right away but did reach out today for it and she quickly responded. Her husband does massage therapy+ (sorry I don't want to say the wrong service) and I actually had questions for things Ben was specifically looking for. She said the sessions are 100% catered to what the client needs and isn't the typical massage every part for a little while vs focusing in on the troubled areas. I love that. I really can't say enough about my experience. Marie was patient and took as long as I need to review everything. One thing specifically that stood out for me was during our discussions and time it became apparent to her that what I may have been looking for was a little stronger of a facial peel so she asked me if I was okay with the next level. To some it is too strong as the base is jalapeno and I told her to let's go for it. She put a little on to test and I was good but she also gave me a face fan if I needed it. I didn't but we joked that I could smell it and just make me think that I drooled on myself while eating chips and salsa. LOL. Afterwards I took myself out to lunch where I sat alone just enjoying the relaxation and the bartender told me that the gentleman across the way bought me a drink. I went over to say thank you for his kindness and funny enough, he said you look like you are glowing and deserved it. What better review can ya get with zero makeup on and just having a facial peel? Wow. This was my first experience with a foot reflexology massage. I have been wanting to try one for awhile. I found Peace of Mind on Groupon and decided to try it. I will go ahead and tell you that I am now scheduled for 3 additional sessions. Every last second of this process from purchasing the Groupon (which I had a discount code for ..YAY) to booking ONLINE to arriving and the massage itself....every last second was easy and enjoyable. I booked my massage as soon as I ordered the Groupon (he books out about 2 weeks or so in advance... Book now!). The only difficult part was waiting until my scheduled date and time. When I arrived, Franco asked me about the Groupon. I showed it to him and he asked me to swipe to mark it used. That was it. So easy. He never mentioned the Groupon again and definitely gave a quality massage. He asked if I had ever done reflexology before. When I said no, he explained everything to me. He showed me where all of the points were on my feet and told me what may occur as he worked (you may feel it in those spots of your body, you may not). I told him I can be ticklish at times and explained my injuries (which includes a metal plate and screws at my right ankle). NONE of that was an issue the entire massage. I am not sure if it is because of the extra care he took or what. The massage was amazing. I never wanted it to end. For the record, I personally only felt it in my feet (that happens with some people). I did however feel that certain spots were tight. When he explained where it was, it made sense. Those were body areas that were bothering me (for instance, I had an upset stomach. My allergies/ sinuses were flared up. He knew this from my feet.) Afterwards, I knew I wanted more. He told me there was a special if I was interested and I could let them know. There was no pressure from him to buy more or return. I asked if I could do it right then. I was able to pay for it on Venmo (there were other options) and it was easy. I then went home and booked my next 3 reflexology massages. As I was driving home, I noticed that I felt extremely relaxed in my entire body. My neck and shoulders in particular. These are a problem area for me. I feel incredible! I HIGHLY recommend Franco at Peace of Mind and the foot reflexology massages. I would be interested in trying some of their other services too. read more

I typically do not like going to spa's and the like as I don't like persons touching my face. I was pleasantly impressed with the comfortable atmosphere of the owners Marie and Franco. They run a clean and inviting spa. Marie is very skillful in the plethora of services she offers you can really tell from that she is passionate and stays up to date with skin care and discovering the root causes of your skin ailments. I visited Peace of Mind Spa in Safety Harbor to have my skin tags removed. Some other estheticians resort to cutting the skin tag off however Marie in an effort to provide a long lasting removal process, for lack of a better word "zaps" the skin tag which dehydrates the cells and if you allow the skin tag to fall off instead of pulling it off within 3-5 days it reduces the effects of scarring. All in all I had a wonderful experience and will be returning at my earliest time. Despite what the nameless naysayers say this business is run by professionals that care for you as an individual and not just making money! read more

I stumbled upon Peace of Mind in 2012 from a Groupon. The minute I met Marie, I knew I was in good hands! She has taken great care of my skin over the years - from facials, to peels, to Skin Classic treatments. I appreciate her knowledge and expertise in the skin care world (and for solving life's little problems as well)! Not only does Marie give a relaxing facial, I know that my skin is receiving the best of the best - from the organic products to the recommendations based on my skin's current needs. I recently experienced my first massage with Franco, it was well worth the wait! I was having some concerns with tightness due to stress and a pinched nerve/muscle. Franco & Marie are the absolute best!!! I have had issues for months with pain and range of motion with my shoulder. When I left there this afternoon I was feeling a little better and had a tiny bit more range of motion but nothing to do cartwheels over lol. When I got home I slathered arnica on my shoulder and took a 2 hr nap... when I got up I could put my hand on my head and rotate my elbow parallel to my ear (I have not been able to do this in 3 mo!) I had my first facial at Peace of Mind a few weeks ago. It was very relaxing. I'm 30 years old, and my skin looks younger and healthier than it has in a long time! My favorite part, though, was the miracle that Marie worked on me with her microcurrent machine. In my 20's, I grew an obnoxious amount of skin tags on my neck. They're ugly and inconvenient. They get tangled in necklaces and caught on seat belts. They're awful. I have done a lot of reading about different ways to have them removed, but I was skeptical whether anything would actually work and work well because the Internet is full of different opinions. Marie removed a few dozen skin tags from my neck and face and they are actually gone! She also used the microcurrent on some other discolorations and bumps I had. The procedure itself was uncomfortable but not too bad. The discomfort faded quickly and I am healing really well. It was definitely worth it! I would definitely choose to have this done again. Franco is a reflexologist & massage therapist with hands that are able to manipulate all of your muscles and organs (thru reflexology) so you feel better. His quiet demeanor adds to the peacefulness of this spa. Marie also has healing hands and a soothing demeanor. I'm very thankful to have discovered Marie. I've been to many spas, but my skin looks best after a treatment from her. She is clearing up the hormonal acne that is deep below my skin's surface. The treatments from the dermatologist have not worked, but the Skin Classic does. The spa has a peaceful setting that relaxes you when you enter. Parking is easy and Safety Harbor is a lovely town. There are some bad eggs in this industry. This would be one of the worst professionals in an industry that I am actually licensed in. I have ever had to deal with. I am a licensed esthetician in the state of CA, I came to see Marie for acne treatments where I bought my first 12 pack treatments for $100 per treatment, 1 hour each. I had an issue with her about half way through, dealing with appts. Her taking vacation time . she would seem like she was working with me but tell me she could fit me in for 30 min and tell me it would still be $100 because she "was doing me a favor" I also started to notice she was not doing everything in her facial she originally did to sell me on them and I kept approaching her on this. We got into back and forth and I told her I just needed my money back for remainder of treatments. I no longer wished to see her. She told me she can't give my money back because I would then owe her money because her treatments "a la carte" are $300-400 per piece. So I didn't cancel because I would have lost about $500 and "owed" her money and kept going to her. I am very unassuming and very trusting very loyal and very forgiving. I thought things got better and eventually I was tricked into thinking she was a sincere person who actually cared about me and my face. Bad idea! Turns out I found out behind my back she was texting another professional in the business who I also see to discuss her giving me up as a client! Which she never told me to my face, and it got way out of hand very unprofessional and the other lady had to block her number! Basically she lied to my face and asked me to pay for another package up front before I even had any services. I did not know all the details. She was still being nice to my face and acting like we were best friends. In the midst of all this I found out my sister was diagnosed with Leukemia and was starting chemo. I texted Marie to let her know that since I didn't use an actual treatment yet I would like my money back as I would be leaving go CA for an undisclosed amount of time to go take care and be with her.this was about 10 days after my purchase of the package, and in that 10 days she had actually canceled one of my appts stating family emergency. And I understood completely and was very concerned. I had empathy for her situation. She told me unfortunately she could not refund my money. So basically she wanted to keep my money which I had not even used . I did tell her we could use one of my services I came in for which was $85 for a spot treat skin class and light therapy ($50 and $35) she claimed that after I asked for a refund she would have to charge me a la carte $235 . Mind you I was there for 45 min . This was not what I signed up for in my package but I thought maybe we could just use up something instead of me paying out of pocket again, I could just use the $1200 she was keeping. So I asked her for $1100 back. She still refused. She told me her clients understand that in emergency situations they will not get their money back no matter what. And that they are OK with that.... ummmm ya stay far far away. We will be taking this to small claims court as i just cannot let people like this get away with such manipulation and fraud. This woman makes you feel so uncomfortable she speaks to you like you do not know what you are talking about, and will act fake and phony to get your money. She keeps calling me a bully when the only bully I see here is her. I have my own business and I would never not return someone money especially in this type of circumstance! First of all, I never write reviews, But this really upset me. What I just experienced with Marie over the phone I learned two things. 1st don't ever prepay for a service, 2nd you can't always believe what people tell you. I had a great massage first of all, and I would have been a loyal client since I have been getting massages for 35 years. She talked down to me like I was a child, and that I had no clue of how a business is run. My husband and I have both been in the same industry for years, so we know what it is like if someone has to cancel, or just doesn't show up, you loose money. But remember I DID prepay, so no $ lost for that hour. We know this, I was hesitant about making an appointment for my husband because a lot of times he doesn't know until the day before that he has to go out of town. And I explained this to them. Marie said well you can go ahead and make an appointment and as soon as you find out just call and let us know, and I said well it may not be exactly 24 hours, it could be the night before. And that's what happened. 3 1/2 weeks later I get a message saying that he would have to pay a extra $25. So I called to talk to her, and remind her of our conversation, I thought she would say oh yeah I remember now. But instead she denies ever saying that, says she would never say that. So I made a $49 mistake for trusting someone that was in the same industry, after the great conversation we had, I believed them. Its sad nowadays you can't always believe what people say. I purchased a service through Groupon and was not able to schedule before the Groupon expired (at one point I forgot I had it). The vendor agreed to accept the face value of the Groupon in addition to what the service would cost. However, in attempting to schedule no resolution could be attained. I work Mon- Friday and have a commitment every other Saturday. These hurdles proved to be unsurmountable- after being offered times on each Saturday that I had already stated I was unavailable for 6 weeks out I gave up. The owner stated my schedule was too restrictive. Groupon advised that maybe I should give the expired Groupon as a gift (!). I would be disinclined to do so given my experience and that it just seemed odd to give an expired Groupon. I went to Safety Harbor to check the facility out- it was pretty hard to find. And it was closed for two weeks at that time. read more

Franco is an excellent massage therapist....the price for an hour massage with hot stones was $49 as I was a 1st time client. The massage was a full hour plus a few minutes....not 50 minutes like some. (I believe the non discounted price is $65.) I would highly recommend Peace of Mind and will definitely return. read more

Had my first appointment today and it was absolutely WONDERFUL. FRANCO knows his stuff and explained the different parts of the feet that helped my problems. I felt very good when appointment was over and can't wait till my next appointment. The spa is very clean and even got to see his 3 month old baby girl. You are not telling the truth. On October 14, 2015 I bought 2 groupons. I bought one and then wanted to buy another, not realizing that there was a 3-60 minute session. The second one I bought was for the 3 sessions. When I first came in I brought the 1 session and I told Franko, your husband what I had done. He went and spoke to you and you both agreed that I could use the 3 session groupon if I gave the first session to my roommate, which I did. She was 20 minutes late for her appointment and Marie called me and told me that she would NOT be seen but I would be charged for that session. I didn't understand why she could not receive 40 minutes of her session and Marie said because she was late and Marie and her husband Franko wanted to go home. I told Marie I did NOT think this was fair. She told me then why don't you just get a refund from groupon. Because the time had expired for refund, I made another appointment with Peace of Mind so I could use the last two sessions thinking that at least it was something for my money. However, when I went in I was told my appointment hadn't gone through because I did not press the "book it" on the page online. Marie made another appointment for me and then I received a phone call saying they would NOT honor my groupon. I suggest going to Florida Reflexology, a 5 Star with no one having any problems, or Foot Reflexology LLC. AGAIN, I don't recommend Peace of Mind. I rate them a 0 but it will not let me post unless I rate something. read more

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Peace of Mind by a friend of mine to gave me a gift certificate for reflexology. Since then, I have purchased packages for both reflexology and massage. Franco is very popular, and books up fast, but the online appointment calendar makes it easy to plan in advance. I have to say, I have had massages before with many different therapists, and Franco is unique. He is very caring, and truly wants to heal his clients. He always goes the extra mile working on problem areas for the client's well-being, where some therapists, would simply just skip over those areas and keep going (at least that has been my experience). I wholeheartedly recommend Peace of Mind, and so firmly believe in the experience that I have purchased gift certificates for at least 4 different friends and co-workers so they can have the same experience as I have had.
