I've had Alexandria twice and Alex once for my facials. Each time they ask what my goal is and customize a facial to meet my needs. The rooms (described my another yelper) is definitely no frills, but don't let that deter you! The hour of relaxation is the best, with head/arm/hand massages as the skincare seeps into your skin. I scheduled an appointment, and when I left, I was highly unsatisfied. My temperature wasn't checked, no hand sanitizer was provided, and the nail tech wasn't wearing gloves while doing my nails. She had me soak off my previous acrylics, which took over an hour. She went in and out of the shop but never came back in to wash her hands or use hand sanitizer. When she cut my nails, she cut my overgrown skin under my thumbnail, which caused me to bleed. Right before she cut it, I pulled back a little and said she's on my skin, but she said she wasn't, so she cut my nail and my overgrown skin too. It's been two days, and it still stings from the cut. I wanted long square acrylic nails, but it didn't look nice at all. It isn't evenly applied, and it's bumpy even though she filed it down at the end. None of my nails turned out how I wanted. I had two nails that should've been ombré, but it doesn't look like that at all. She also put the wrong jewel size on my middle finger, and I mentioned it to her, so she tried taking it off. She couldn't get one-off, so she added the bigger jewel on top of it, and the little jewel underneath is still sticking out. I wanted initials in blue writing, but when she applied it on another acrylic, she said it was too light, so she didn't want to do it, so instead, we decided to add jewels. The way she added big jewels doesn't even look nice. The owner hyped her up, saying she trusts all her nail techs to do great work. I felt like the nail tech was new and didn't know what she was doing and wasn't sure how to do what I wanted exactly. They're both very friendly and outgoing ladies, but I am highly unsatisfied and disappointed with my nails. I want to get them taken off, and it's only been two days. I do not recommend this place because they also recently opened up about six months ago. I wouldn't even give a 1 star, but I had to write a review for the first time ever. Before I left I said I like it but I felt bad and was just so unhappy I wanted to get out of there. I had an appointment scheduled for 6:00 PM but wasn't out of there until almost 11:00 PM. Even if I was highly disappointed I still tipped her $10 which I had to send on cash app because they didn't take cards.
