My son gave me a gift certificate for Mothers Day. I chose an 80 minute massage. I had a 5 pm appointment and due to traffic I arrived at 5:15 pm. I highly recommend Maria B. for the 80 minute custom facial. My skin has never looked so good. And her touch is so relaxing. She used some really high tech tools on me including Microdermabrasion. I came in around 6pm and was the only person there - very personalized! It was wonderful and very relaxing. I came back home and felt like I could pass out straight away. I work out a lot and then just sit in front of a computer all damn damn, so I was very tense and had a lot of knots in my back which she was so kind enough to work them out. I had been experiencing a lot of physical pain and tension from daily stressors, so I figured that a deep body massage would be very helpful. After searching the internets, I found Peaceful Body Spa and decided to give it a try. Massages make me uneasy and I struggle to relax during sessions, but I felt calm instantly when I met Cheryl; she an incredibly warm and kind disposition. She makes you feel seen and you can tell she genuinely cares about you. I went in thinking I only needed physical healing but left feeling physically at ease and spiritually cleansed. While Cheryl worked on my physical pain, she used guided imagery to help me through my emotional pain. I didn't realize that I needed help letting go. She gave me the room I needed to forgive myself/other and reminded me that I can let go of any thoughts or feelings that do not serve me. Once I let go of the mental and emotional tension, my body released all of the physical tension. I am, in no way, a spiritual or religious person, but something about the energy of a truly peaceful individual can be life changing. I was in town to attend a 4 day training class, and needless to say was desperately needing a massage by the end of it. I found Peaceful Body Massage in a Yelp search and was impressed with the reviews. The booking process was extremely easy and I was able to book a massage with Bill the next day. The building that the office is in is unlike most of the spa places you see when driving by - it's tucked away in a cute, small little office suite in a very quiet part of Delray Beach. Nothing like the usual strip mall. The waiting area is nicely decorated and the owner was there to check me in and gave me an I take form. Bill was ready to see me as soon as I was finished with the form and brought me back to a cozy massage room. There was soft music playing and a few candles were burning (fake ones, so no overly fragranced candles...). The massage was WONDERFUL!!! I had a 90 minute massage as well as a 30 minute reflexology session. I have absolutely no complaints about the professionalism of the staff, the quality of the massage or the ambiance.
