What a partnership to have these two neat shops in the Fulton/ Clinton area... And just across the street from one another! They were open the day after Thanksgiving and had quite the Christmas spread. Really pretty and put me in the mood for the holidays. This is a shop you could frequent on the reg and always find a new treasure tucked away on some magical shelf. It's definitely a must when purchasing a gift on the fly. They do have a Facebook page that they seem to keep updated, so I'd check that put. As soon as you walk into the shop it smells like heaven. There was a scensy with a lemon flavor that was very inviting. The wax melts were available to purchase. The room is filled with goodies. Prices range from cheap to some items being a bit on the pricey side. I'd have to say there will be something for everyone. There are so many little rooms so I won't spoil the layout. This was a lot of fun to browse through, as well as supporting local business. We can't wait to go back to That One Place!!!! The lady at the counter was SO sweet. I wish I would have asked for her name. Thank you for letting me take pictures so I can show others this beautiful shop. My only suggestion would be putting a sign off Bluff so people know where it is, I can see how people might not be able to find it. It is between College/18th, and Bluff Elementary. Please note that this is an actual working grain milling windmill and you can purchase the different types of flour that they mill as well as the brown mustard. Give yourself some time because there are guides who really wish to walk you through both the windmill itself and how it operates and then you go across the street to the cultural center where there is another Guide, who explains all of the different windmill models to you. Give yourself at least an hour and a half to two hours. I will say our grandkids were quite fascinated, especially with some of the working windmill models they could see in action. There was not a charge for a mission, but they do accept donations. Also, you are right on the Dyke so there are nice walking pads so give yourself some time to take a walk and enjoy the area. Note that they also have Stroopwaffles for sale for $1.25 each so we had to introduce our grandkids to this too!

Breakfast buffet Saturday and Sunday mornings from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. A little disappointed there, it's a smaller buffet. The biscuits and gravy were good as well as the French toast. Scrambled eggs, well you can't really mess those up. Ham, sausage, bacon, etc. Some sort of cheesy hashbrown's.....those were a fail, unfortunately. Very basic buffet, all self serve. Drinks are sealed containers of orange juice, apple juice, milk, etc. The workers and staff were friendly. Again, it's about the same as any Midwest casino. Better selection of slots, they have some that other casinos have taken out. That's a plus for us.
