WOW, what great people to deal with, fixed my 1998 New Holland LX 565 like new again, very honest and upfront. I could not be happier!

I would really like to not have to put such a bad review on here but after 3 bad visits I can't…read morereally help it. First bad visit was when I went to schedule a service for my mower. I was given a date and they said they'd call the day before they'd be out and I never got a call. So I call about a month after they said they'd be out and I got excuse after excuse. Second bad visit was when I asked for a bagger for my mower for a 4 acre property when they finally did come and get it for service and instead of a bagger I got this little dinky cage looking thing that I had to stop every 4-5 minute to unload. I was very specific when I told them what I wanted. They did refund me and take it back. Third bad visit was when I bought a smaller Stihl weedwacker for my son and it wouldn't run. I called and said I was 8 minutes away(when in reality I was 5) when it was almost 5pm and if someone could just wait for me so I could get it looked at really fast. I was told no. I spoke to the manager in the morning when I came and brought it back and he told me he'd have done the same thing. He wasn't willing to stay for what he claims was a $5 profit. He said it's not worth it. "Maybe if you bought a $10,000 lawn mower." Not even a, "I wish we could" or "I'm sorry." That is not really the kind of customer service attitude I would ever be okay with as I was in a parts/service customer service position for over 15 years. I don't plan on ever purchasing or doing business here again if I can help it. Attitude is everything, even if you can't make it right.

Dropped off rarely used chainsaw for repair because it wouldn't start. Was told they are 4 weeks…read morebehind. 3 weeks later get a call that it will cost over $100 to fix and that a new one is $179. They recommended i buy a new one from them. Asked what was wrong with it they said carburetor and the lines were clogged. Picked up the chainsaw not fixed ordered carburetor repair kit from Amazon for $12 replaced carburetor myself which took 10 minutes. Chainsaw started 1st pull. The gas lines were not clogged. I will not be spending anymore $ at Webers. Thats bad business.

Been a customer of Ed's Rental for years. My 2026 experience has taught me a valuable consumer…read moreexperience. I have serviced my equipment at Ed's and bought several pieces of equipment at Ed's for 15-20 years. This year, I decided to have my Generac powerwasher, Briggs & Stratton generator, Husqvarna snowblower and Honda lawnmower serviced at Ed's. The Honda has a handle to switch from mulch to bag, and it had broken off during the 2025 mowing season. I asked if they could replace that. The generator, which I bought during Hurricane Sandy, needed a battery replacement. I went on Amazon and found the exact battery for $39.00, but decided to let Ed's replace it as it needed an oil change and tune up (75 total hours running in 20 years). The power washer and snowblower were sent for oil changes and general maintenance. So, what lesson did I learn: NEVER authorize any work at this shop without requiring a written estimate prior to the commencement of the work. It took Ed's a month to do basic maintenance on 4 common pieces of equipment. So, how much did they charge for the battery? Twice as much as Amazon? Nope. Ed's, claiming they only use American parts (sure buddy, sure), charged me six times more than Amazon --$234.25. Yes, I felt violated. Six times more than market value for a twenty year old generator worth $100.00. The best part: They charged me shipping on both the Honda parts (parts cost: $6.00/Shipping: $19.95) and on the battery ($16.95). Never had a problem with the actual work, but my firm recommendation: Go to Ed's only if you can't find another firm to do your work. I am disappointed with Ed's and will look to find a TORO dealer locally. Really a bad experience. I give Ed's Rental the Comcast award for customer excellence and experience. Congratulations!
