We hung out for awhile waiting for our group before deciding to get some dinner. I will say we were able to get a table within 5-10 minutes. However once we ordered getting our food took forever and it was constantly being sent back for being incorrect. No fault to our server I think the kitchen was just consistently messing up. We started with an order of wings, which were tender, well flavored, and seasoned very well. The beer cheese burger I ordered was sent back because it came out well done and I like rare burgers. The fries were also extremely soggy and flavorless. The new burger that came out was cooked medium well but I was starving so I ate it anyway because I didn't want to wait another 30+ minutes to eat. My boyfriend ordered the bbq brisket sandwich and was disappointed as it was just a small portion of meat on a bun there was no cheese or onions on the sandwich or a pickle. The remaining part of our group ordered two additional wings and each time they came out it was incorrect. That took easily another 40 minutes to get the two correct wing orders out. As well one of our members has a serious celiac condition and cannot have any gluten. Thankfully her meal was the only that came out correctly the first time. Our server Bruce O was very helpful and easily just as frustrated as our meals were consistently coming out wrong and delayed. I do have to say for the amount of issues we experienced I was shocked nothing was comped or that a manger did not come over once and apologize for what had occurred.

Im a photographer and had a time slot reserved for this week , I arrived 30 minutes before to scout…read morethe place which is common for photographers , spoke to the staff that was cleaning the event area and they were nice, I asked if I could look around to see the best places for pictures and they advised me on the best area , asked what time the my clients would be here and I said in around 30 minutes, they suggested I met them at the gate which was usually what was done , I went about to check the tree area and since I still had some good 10,15 minutes for my clients I checked at one of the wood benches they had , which was when my mom called ( she lives in another country ) and I went on talking to her until one man from the staff cut me off and said " excuse me , I didn't plan on doing this but these people reserved the whole place ( the party area I imagine which was were they were ) and you're not supposed to be there sitting down talking on your phone " then he proceeded to ask what time my clients were arriving and I say in a few minutes , and that was the end of the conversation. I got up and proceeded to the gate to wait for my clients in my car . In my view this was very unprofessional since if there was any impediment I could have been approached in a very different and courteous way ,which I completely understand since I'm a mature person, but that's not what happened . I would not go back and I would not refer this farm because of my first and only experience .

The dining is traditional and we loved it. The style is European inside and you feel transported to a foreign time and place. Soaring ceilings with old world timbers and large baronial fireplaces are a perfect setting for the feast to come. We are ice water people when we dine out so I can't comment on their drinks but they have a top reputation for offering a wine cellar that is famously stocked full of rare bottles. And available for a special event. We started with a homemade tomato soup and it was everything. Expect local and the most flavorful vegetables here. Real cream on top. Then we ate the most wonderful Wiener Schnitzel ( the veal was pure white) again with perfectly steamed local cauliflower, carrots and peas. The brown sauce was well made and perfectly smooth and complex with a delicious stock underpinning the finished product. For desert we had a very traditional Swiss chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream sundae. It was simply wonderful. Such a good choice for a special meal. Service I should mention was impeccable and attentive. We noticed several large family tables but the dining room is laid out so there seem to be no bad tables as had been mentioned on another review. It's a white tablecloth dining experience and a reservation is needed. Parking in front. The sedate calm of the restaurant is a setting for conversation and appreciation of the unusually divine cuisine available here.

So the morning of my sister's funeral, I checked on my flower order, I was informed there was a…read moreproblem with my order for some odd reason. No notice or anything. I was in trouble, now I had very little time to reorder. My sister was dear to me and I needed to get something there but time had run out. I did a quick search and found Corwin Florist in the next town over. From the reviews they looked like they had a good reputation so I called. Colleen picked up the phone, awesome person. I explained what had happened and she told me they were busy but she thought she could fulfil the order. I felt relief at those words. Placed my order and prayed for the best. I still wanted a beautiful piece, something worthy for my sister but I felt like I'd have to settle for whatever they sent. I was out of time. However, Colleen came through, she sent a gorgeous piece and it meant everything on a sad, bleak day. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I wasn't a previous customer, I was a stranger to her. The restaurants on this block do have a reputation for being pricier, however for the quality of the food, service, and experience, I can't complain. I must say, compared to other local American restaurants & taverns right in town, such as G's, Greenview Tavern definitely strides ahead in the food & service category. The fries we ordered were truffle but we were given the regular ones which no fuss but would have loved to see what they were about. They were hot and crunchy. This is such a great place for lunch and I'll be seeing myself coming back when I'm in town visiting relatives. Portion size for $10 salad is crazy good. Back in FL the portion sizes are so small you have to order them extra sides but my bf and I were able to split a burger, fries and salad evenly. Filled us up real nice so I highly recommend this place.
