Over a few days staying at a nearby hotel for a wedding, I got to try their chicken biscuit, their bacon biscuit, and their sausage biscuit. All were great, but the sausage biscuit was what breakfast dreams are made of. A thick patty, melty cheese, and a firm biscuit that held it all together. My wife and I had used another mechanic I implicity trusted for many years ago before moving to Shelby county but with their location now over 30 miles away, I have always used other mechanics in the area. I can say without a doubt this is the BEST local vehicle repair shop I have done business with since we moved here over 23 years ago. I had to bring the car in to have some rear brake pads put on after another local mechanic told me last week the pads were "worn out". The mechanic at Patriot informed me that the rear pads did need to be replaced soon but were not in as bad shape as the mechanic last week had insinuated. I told him to go ahead and replace the rear pads. I was going to have to stay with the vehicle today bc I had no other form of transportation, so I figured with ordering the parts and then having them put on, I would be there most of the day. They had the job completed in two hours time! Price was very reasonable. The staff was very nice and professional, too. We have found our new auto repair shop. If you're looking for a professional, honest and reasonably priced auto repair place, Patriot is what you need! :)

Park back there next to all of the cars and go into the small door by the garage. Literally as soon as you step in, the office is on your left. Fuentes is a great guy. He is Hispanic and does have an accent, so if you are hard of hearing like me, please don't be like me and forget your hearing aids lol But he came right on out, inspected my car and showed me exactly what the problem was all right there in the parking lot. He didn't do what most mechanics do, take your car back and hide what they are doing, then come out expecting you to pay outrageous fees. Fuentes gave me an estimate that was almost the exact total I ended up paying. Very fair price. He let me stay in his office while he worked on my car and popped in a few times to check on me and let know how it was going. Once he was finished, he even took me out and showed me everything he had done on my car and explained things to me. Very honest guy. I will be back if I have any more problems with my car. Update: I will forever be grateful for this guy. He always goes above and beyond his duty. My car broke down more than once while I was living here, and if it wasn't for him, I would not have been able to get my car fixed and still go to work and class. More than once Fuentes dropped everything to give me a ride to a rental car place or to a store to get car parts for my car.
