This was the easiest, best car buying experience of my life. The salesperson Dennita was…read moreincredible. She really went above and beyond my expectations. She made sure all my questions were answered and that the car was exactly what I wanted. While I was waiting on it to be detailed, she sent me pictures and communicated with me. I had a question and she immediately had me on FaceTime addressing my concern. After the sale she sent me an email making sure I was happy with everything. She has a customer for life now. The sales manager and general manager were absolutely incredible. The easiest negotiation I have ever done. This was a zero stress sale for me. No running back and forth playing games, just a fair price for a great car. The price was in the middle of the Kelly blue book value. They could have sold the car for way more, considering everyone else had their 4Runners at $5,000 above high retail kbb. I was at the gas station where I met the owner of the dealership and he wanted to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. Absolutely I am happy with you for providing the best experience ever buying a car. I will ONLY buy from you now.

Disappointing Experience with McKinnon Toyota…read more I recently went to McKinnon Toyota regarding the engine recall on my 2022 Tundra, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Before allowing a dealership to perform a major engine replacement, I believe it is completely reasonable to ask basic questions about the replacement engine and the work being performed. I asked about the manufacture date of the replacement engine, what warranty I would receive, and how many of these recall engine replacements the dealership had completed. The service manager was unable to answer these questions and did not appear knowledgeable about the recall or the dealership's experience with the replacement engines. I also asked how they could make the situation right, but there was no clear answer or solution offered. I was eventually contacted by the person over the service manager. Unfortunately, rather than acknowledging my concerns or explaining how they could address the situation, the conversation focused on the fact that he had been doing this for 17 years and that they had not received questions like mine before. I also felt that I was being talked over rather than listened to. My issue wasn't that they didn't immediately have every answer. My concern was that these were basic and important questions about a major engine replacement, and I expected the dealership to either know the answers or be willing to find them and provide them before asking me to proceed. Ultimately, I did not feel comfortable having McKinnon Toyota perform the engine replacement on my Tundra, so I walked out.
