I was also quoted a service fee of $145, but I was ultimately charged $197, which added to my frustration with the overall experience. After the incident, I had visible water damage to my hallway ceiling, and water came through a recessed light that is now no longer functioning. Edrick stated that there was no water damage in the attic because the insulation had caught the water and they wiped everything dry. However, the visible damage to my ceiling and the fact that the recessed light stopped working after the water intrusion were concerning. I also had concerns about the service itself. Based on the events that occurred and Joshua's interactions with Edrick, I did not feel that Joshua demonstrated the level of experience or confidence I would expect from someone performing plumbing work in my home. What was even more disappointing was the response from management and customer service. I spoke with Joy, a representative, and Zack, the plumbing manager. Both came across as defensive when I brought the incident and resulting damage to their attention. Rather than feeling like my concerns were being taken seriously, I felt as though the focus was on defending the company's actions instead of addressing the damage and finding a resolution. I also requested the company's commercial general liability insurance information so that the property damage could be properly reported, but that information was not provided, refused in fact. Accidents can happen, but how a company responds when something goes wrong says a lot about the company. Unfortunately, the customer service or lack thereof that I experienced was extremely disappointing. In my opinion, that ultimately reflects management and trickles down to the staff. I expected better communication, accountability, and customer service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.
