Such a cute little gem in Wadesboro with extremely fresh fruit ice cream! Their pies are still warm so they definitely have a smooth operation. A tad bit too sweet for me so definitely serve with your ice cream if you're watching your sugar level
As you're passing through wadesboro you cant miss the old school peach ice cream sign display out front. They have all kinds of local farm produced goods and vegetables. And oh my goodness the homemade ice cream!! I got the obvious choice: homemade peach ice cream and it satisfied my sweet tooth well. Rich and creamy with just enough peach flavor. Haven't had ice cream this good and reasonably priced in a while. We also picked up some peaches grown in the area and farm fresh eggs!
Was in the area at the DMV and decided to stop by and grab some peach cobbler for myself and ice cream for my son. The girls working the window were so welcoming and took the best care of us. The warm peach cobbler tasted amazing! My son enjoyed his blueberry ice cream and he can be so picky when it comes to ice cream. We will definitely be back! Love this quaint, little fruit stand with so many extras:)
I absolutely love this place. I have been coming here my whole life and it always has the best peach ice cream ever! I also have enjoyed the strawberry as well as banana ice cream too. This last visit I got the peach ice cream and it met my expectations as always. The workers are always super friendly and speedy. Bathrooms are also clean.
This is a nice little stop on the middle of a highway. They have ice cream and local things. I purchased some local tomatoes and local cheddar cheese. It is non a huge place and do they have some rocking chairs outside for relaxing. The staff were nice but not really knowledgeable about the products. They have a public restroom, too
Nice stop on your way to/from Wilmington! The ice cream is delicious, creamy and tasty. There is a small fresh market where you can get fruits, vegetables, honey, etc.

Stopped by for a quick break on our way back home from Myrtle Beach. Definitely was worth a stop with great tasting not very sweet Ice Cream.

Worth the stop! I was unaware this place existed until I happened to be passing by on 74 and saw all the cars parked outside on a Sunday evening. The prices are very reasonable and their portions are large. They offer a list of their own homemade flavors in addition to several Breyers flavors. I ordered the homemade peach (good) and homemade blueberry (delicious!) I was surprised to find I liked the blueberry better than the peach, since the peach flavor was a little more subtle.

Love the goodies here, I come for the elderberry kits, always a must. They carry the southern grapes I love, Muscatine. Also, they carry honey with honey Comb and bee pollen. read more

Can confirm, this great little hidden gym was a lot of fun, both to drive to, as well as experience once we arrived. I love that they have a sugar-free option in their ice cream menu, the only part I would've preferred was that they had more than just that single option (for sugar-free selections). That said I have no complaints, everybody here was very pleasant and welcoming and professional, and the product itself was high quality for sure. I would love to give this place five full stars but I'll hold off until they have a few more sugar-free options for folks. I mean it though it's only the fact that they had just one choice of sugar free ice cream, that is the ONLY downside. But I can tell they're on the way up so the next time I go out there I hope to update this review with a fifth star!! That said, I will say we got two desserts here one was the strawberry shortcake. It tasted absolutely phenomenal, very fresh. I wouldn't be surprised if that was homemade ice cream, and it could've been more than a few hours old shortcake. The second dessert we tried was the peach cobbler with the butter, pecan, sugar-free ice cream, I could not tell that it was sugar-free, some of the best sugar-free ice cream I've ever had, And the dessert itself once again tasted extremely fresh. I made the statement after it was all over, that I can absolutely tell (from my experience today at Peaches n Cream) when something is fresh and when it's not. They really know how to do it. read more

Nothing in the world better than a roadside produce/ice cream stand on a warm spring day. Come to think of it, ice cream is good anytime. Road up to Monroe to visit some family and made a point to stop by here on the way back to the house. Stopped by and the place was packed. Just what I like to see. Whenever we come home to North Carolina, we have to pick up some stuff that's just hard to get in San Diego. The wife picked up a jars of local honey and apple butter and I got two big ol' packs of country ham. Now, on to the main we reason we stopped: The Ice Cream. The ice cream is homemade but I think they have tub ice cream available also along with regular food. Being the hawg that I am, I ordered a double scoop of butter peCAN ( not pe-caan) in one of their homemade waffle cones. Right off the bat, my eyes popped out. Their serving of ice cream is massive. For the first time in my life, I was not able to finish my ice cream. Still, for all this, the prices are very reasonable. As I stated, I got the two scoops and the wife got one and the total price was less than $10. Waaaay better than going to a Cold Stone Creamery and taking out a loan for a small cone. Anyway, as with most places in the south, the workers were friendly and the product was good. Can't wait to stop by the next time I'm around. read more
We stopped here when driving through Wadesboro. Plenty of good ratings to draw us in. They have fresh produce and fruit, plus honey, jams and jellies. The produce was reasonably priced, but I didn't buy any. The peaches looked great and they offered several pre-packed baskets in different sizes. We did get the ice cream though. I love that they have several homemade options. They also offer some Breyers options if that's your preference, as well as peach cobbler, shakes and pound cake (lemon, vanilla, almond). I got two scoops in a waffle cone and chose peach and blueberry. OMG, I would drive back here for the blueberry ice cream alone!! I expected peach to be the star, and it may have been if I hadn't tasted the blueberry first. It was the best I've ever had. Both flavors had fresh fruit mixed in which was a plus. This was a great road trip detour, I'm still thinking about that blueberry ice cream though... read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Their peach cobbler with homemade peach ice cream is the best I've had. It's located in the small town sort of halfway between Charlotte and Wilmington. We stop every time we can. I also love their Elderberry Scrub and of course the fresh peaches are to die for. read more

Awesome road-side produce stand with ice cream and coffee. The peach ice cream was phenomenal. When we stopped in late May the strawberries were outstanding and better than the peaches. Must stop at on the way to the beach! read more

On a hot day in June what is there to do? Sounds like window shopping and eating ice cream. If your vehicle takes you down this road be sure to stop and get in line for some great fruits, vegetables and amazing tasting ice cream. read more

Great little produce stand in Wadesboro with lots of locally grown produce. The peaches are awesome. They also have ice cream and cobbler which is pretty darn good too. Their staff is always friendly. read more
I had to travel through Wadesboro on my way to client sites out in Eastern NC a couple of times recently so I finally decided to stop & check this place out on my way back home. The employees were super nice and they have a nice variety of produce & other goodies like jams, honey, plants, eggs, etc. The strawberries I got here were local & so delish!!! I don't think all of their produce is local....but the berries definitely are! So, on my most recent stop, I also decided to get an ice cream - sugar cone with peach ice cream. Yum! They have a cute little porch area with rocking chairs if you would like to sit & enjoy your ice cream before taking off. When stopping by here on the way back home it kind of sucks because I have to turn left across 2 lanes of 74 traffic to stop in. Then when leaving, to get back on 74... I have to head back towards Wadeboro and then do a U turn to get reoriented in the right direction...but it was worth the hassle read more

Super friendly! And really yummy. Stopped in spur of the moment tonight passing through and we are so glad we did. Everyone was beyond polite (welcome to the south, I know, but this northern girl isn't use to it!). 3 of us ordered the peach cobbler (warm, peaches still had their shape, perfect texture and not overly sweet) and one ordered a cone (huge!). read more

So, as we're driving down 74, leaving Charlotte for the beach, I mentioned to my boyfriend that I really wanted some ice-cream. I figured we'd end up at a DQ or Baskin Robbins... Then, out of nowhere, comes a sign from heaven, "Homemade ice-cream ahead." We almost drove right past the unassuming road side shop but tore in just in time. I had a blueberry waffle cone, piled high with what seemed like 10 scoops. It was so much, I shared with my dog. :) Tasty stuff! The cone was perfection and the ice-cream was just as good. Cute little market store attached carries local produce, jams, etc. Looking forward to making this a regular stop on our way to and from the coast! read more
