Cute little place with some amazing ice cream! We have been meaning to pop in for a while now, and it is definitely our loss for waiting for so long! There is plenty of parking in the plaza and tables both inside and out where you can enjoy your treat! We tried the cinnamon toast crunch and butterfinger, and both were exactly what you would expect! They have quite a few flavors to pick from, so I will definitely need to go check out some of the others. Prices are very reasonable with a small at $4, medium at $6 or a pint at $10. They also have a loyalty card and punch a hole for every order. Once you fill the card, you get to spin the wheel and win a prize, anything from free ice cream, t-shirt, hat, or even a stuffed puppy (Hank). Unfortunately, Hank was not there today, but just another reason to go back! The employees behind the counter were friendly and were cleaning and picking up between customers,keeping the place tidy. We went to Hanks Carolina Creamery (address is: 103 G Wilkes Dr. Monroe, North Carolina) today and i have got to give him props! My sons wanted to go to SweetFrog but i told them lets go try some real ice cream. I got the coffee caramel, my daughter got cookie dough (she said its REAL cookie dough and was delicious), my oldest son got cookies & cream (fun fact, it takes 44 Oreos to make a batch), my youngest son got vanilla (he took a bite and told him wow you did a good job, it's delicious!). Before we left my youngest told him "you do a really good job with your ice creams, thank you"! There is also a freezer of pints (cash only) if you want to bring some home to enjoy! Quiet little spot situated in a strip mall behind a gas station but otherwise super cute! Seating for maybe 20 inside and its pretty small but the ice cream was amazing! Super creamy and flavorful, the portion sizes were great too. I got the coffee caramel and it was yum. Service was friendly enough, it looked as though it got better if you were a regular. They had a spin wheel you can spin once your punch card fills up which is pretty cool. read more

Fantastic new ice cream shop! Delicious flavors made fresh in-house using local ingredients. My favorites were Maple Butter Pecan, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Pistachio.
