I came here to get my ankle checked out because I tripped and fell in front of a convenience store and the next morning I was unable to walk. My ankle was severely swollen and I knew something was wrong. My husband brought me to this urgent care because he had been here before and was able get good care. Plus, we called and nobody was waiting. I was seen right away. I was wheeled away to get an x-ray after my vitals were taken. Pretty quickly afterwards, a nurse practitioner, Kendranique Brown, came in and she felt my ankle. She left to go take another look at my x-rays. Then she came back and advised that my ankle was fractured. She then advised that aftercare would be to go see an ortho, use the medication prescribed and walk with the crutches provided. Fast forward 4 days and I'm trying to make an Ortho appointment. I was asked for the x-ray so they potentially didn't have to do it again. After receiving them in my email, I read over them and it stated, "There is no evidence of acute fracture or dislocation." WHAT?! I call back and speak to ANOTHER provider. He advised there is no fracture. Now, this was a good catch by MYSELF. With a traveling job, I was going to have to go on FMLA. Make life adjustments. . etc I can't understand how after it was discovered that my ankle was NOT fractured, why in the world wouldn't anybody contract me to let me know? This was about to be a huge adjustment in my life. Luckily, I caught this MYSELF before I started really changing my life around. This experience was ridiculous and I would NEVER recommend this urgent care to anyone. read more

Very poor Customer Service. We had an appointment and still had to wait almost 2 hours to be seen. We were the last ones out and had to walk ourselves out into the lobby in the dark and unlock the front doors by ourselves while the entire crew stayed in the back talking and laughing. It was a bad experience for me and my 11 year old. We are not coming back there again. read more

I went to this urgent care because I had severe back pain that was causing muscle spasms. I went in early in the morning, there was one other person waiting. I was waiting no more than 20 minutes. The nurse practitioner gave me a shot that made my pain go away. She also gave me a prescription for my muscle spasms. I was pleased with my experience. read more

Went here and was diagnosed with a bacterial infection. I was prescribed antibiotics and cough medicine.The next two days my symptoms got worse, I returned for a follow up as directed. The NP seemed pissed that I came back, ordered me some steroids and cough syrup then sent me off again. Neither helped at all. Symptoms continued to get worse and I wound up going to the ER. Turns out they ordered an antibiotic that was not effective for the bacterial infection I had. I was given albuterol for bronchial spasms and the correct antibiotic. Was feeling 10 times better within 24 hours. The majority of the staff was nice, and acted in good faith I think. But it ended up being a waste of time and a lot of money. read more

I went to Peachtree Urgent Care located at 840 Highway 81 East on Monday 10.24 because of a consistent prolong cough that now has me experiencing lower back pain. I waited about 2 hours before getting called toward the back. The staff that tested me was very nice with good bedside manner. The NP came in and did a few tests, listen to my lungs looked at my back and basically told me I pulled a muscle from the continuous cough. He prescribed a cough syrup and 800mg of Tylenol. He did a nose swab and said i would have the results back with 24 hours. He did say everything was back up and i would most likely get it on Wednesday, i just got it. Today is day 3 from my initial visit and my back in still killing me. No relief from the 800mg of Ty. I called the office back on Wed. 10.26 to inquire about the swab and to let them know i might need to come back it. I was disconnected 3 times after being put on hold. Not once did the person taking the call asked for my information to call me back if i got disconnected again. NOT Once. On the 4th call back to the office she basically said " Ma'am I am paging them, and no one is answering and i can't do anything to help you because you need to talk to the NP. So at that point i realized not all Urgent Care are staffed with doctors, but the bill will most like be like a doctor looked at you. Here it is 4.04pm on Thursday, and still no call back from PIC. Out of desperation i called Cigna Web MD and was told i could have lifted something and strained my muscle from the continuous cough. He prescribed me a steroid. I can't say how i feel because it's only been 1 day and my back still hurts. Only time will tell. Results are back from Piedmont UC and no one bothered to call me to explain what the results mean. Why is this how patients are being handled with insurance. I am very disappointment with the service received from Piedmont Urgent Care - McDonough and can't say i would EVER go back there. read more

Walked in was seen in about 20-30 minutes. The staff addressed me as soon as I walked in the door. Everyone was professional. Enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to wait hours just because I didn't have an appointment. read more

I went in for Kidney Stones last week and was taken very good care of by the staff/ nurses and the doctor. Location is clean, and the staff is friendly. I was very satisfied with the level of care provided and medication prescribed. read more

I went in for a deep laceration and waited a WHILE before being seen finally. The staff that day wasn't very welcoming. The practitioner Josh stitched up my laceration, prescribed me pain meds but NO ANTIBIOTICS! Which made my foot painfully swell massively & Having me return in the next 3 days (WHICH IS PAST THEIR FREE VISIT DATE) with an infection and more severe pain!!!!! Had to pay AGAIN!!! For a mess up that was on THEM! Finally got a doctor that day that knew what she was doing and the staff on that day was INCREDIBLE and AMAZING! I got the PROPER treatment and I'm doing better now. read more

I made an appt online for my son and when we got there the waiting area was completely empty. We were called back after a few minutes and then sat in the exam room for over an hour. I stepped out and asked the MAs how much longer it would be. NP Thompson, who was the provider, was walking through the area as I asked this question and was clearly offended. I was told by the MAs that we would be next. The NP finally appeared about 10 minutes later and spent 10 minutes with my son and then left the room. I was expecting her to return as I had additional questions. Instead of returning one of the MAs returned instead. When I asked if I could speak to the NP again because I still had questions I was told that she had already started another visit. So after waiting an hour, she barely spent 10 minutes and then couldn't be bothered (clearly she was aggravated about my question about the wait time) to return to our room to answer a few questions. I found it interesting that she was in no hurry to get to our room but then very quickly started the next visit and couldn't come back to answer my questions. This was my first and last visit to this "practice." I only went because my son's normal provider didn't have same availability and the ER was swamped. If this is the last facility on earth I will NEVER go back. read more
