Best pharmacy ever. You get the service and attention unlike other Pharmacies, i.e. CVS and Walgreens.

Zero stars Stay far away from this pharmacy. They ask in…read morethe review what they could improve :close the pharmacy and start all over! Terrible customer service and incorrect information regarding contacting you. Pure mismanagement and total lack of caring. So in line with the degradation of a healthcare system. If you want to feel overlooked go to Walgreens pharmacy they are VERY good at it .

My favorite Walgreens stores in the area are probably still the ones off Jimmy Carter in Norcross…read morefor meds and the one off Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker for the random deals and general emptiness when I go in. I've never been to this one until last month, when my hubby needed a COVID test to return to work. We scheduled ahead of time online but were running super late as I had just got off work and was already fighting traffic - add an accident to that and we were really behind. I called before even leaving our apartment, letting them know the situation. I can't speak on the retail staff, but the pharmacy staff was really nice and said they would still take us when we got there with an ETA of about 10-15 minutes. When we arrived, unfortunately, we ended up stuck in the drive-thru line behind about ten cars or so. We decided to just wait it out and see if they would still take us. We would've just gone inside if it was for anything other than a COVID test. By the time we got up to the front, it had to have been about 5:30. So we were like 45 minutes late or so at this point, as opposed to the projected (already late) time of 5:00. The gentleman who greeted us at the drive-thru counter behind the glass was not going to accept us at first. Thankfully after explaining that we called ahead and were stuck behind an accident and stuck in the pharmacy line, he and his co-workers decided to still help us and process my hubby's test that evening. We were so thankful, considering they didn't have to. From there the rest went smoothly. My hubby self-administered the rapid molecular ID now test and got his results in less than an hour, very quickly (and thankfully, negative!) The results were emailed to us without issue, just like the other locations do. We have no complaints with this Walgreens as a test site and were very thankful for the compassionate staff that still got us in, so my hubby could get back to work. We would come here again for testing if need be and recommend it to you if you need one and are in the area. So far Walgreens as a whole has been my favorite business to COVID test with as the process is generally smooth and results are quick!

While standing in a long pharmacy line, I watched staff loudly lecture an elderly man about insurance and copays in front of everyone. It was not a private, respectful conversation. It was loud, sharp, and embarrassing for him. Another employee stepped in and somehow made it worse by speaking in an exaggerated, demeaning tone that sounded like she was talking to a child. There was zero effort to be kind or professional. I also heard a staff member snap at a customer who asked about Spanish language help and say, "We only speak English here." In a healthcare setting, that is beyond unacceptable. When it was my turn, I asked the pharmacist (Lee Trac) to apply coupons I had just added in the app. She immediately acted irritated, said she would have to void everything, and then made a big show of slamming items around when I said that was fine. After rerunning the transaction, she loudly pointed out that my discounts were only a few cents, as if that made my request stupid. It felt like she was trying to embarrass me for simply wanting valid coupons applied. Customers should not be treated like a nuisance for trying to save money. To top it off, when I went to the front of the store to ask who the manager was, staff could not even clearly tell me who runs the store. Multiple first names, no last names, and no clear leadership. That is a serious red flag. I have been to this location for years and have never seen it this bad. The level of discrimination immature attitude, and lack of professionalism I saw that day was shocking. No one should be treated this way when they are picking up prescriptions or asking basic questions. I left angry, uncomfortable, and honestly concerned about the culture in that pharmacy.

Today is the 26th, so I returned it for an exchange. Explain to me why the associate opened the brand-new replacement item in front of me after scanning my receipt and processing the exchange. I have never heard of anything like that before. When I asked why they were opening the new item, the associate stated that it was because it was an exchange and claimed it was "their policy." I know that is not standard everywhere. If a product is defective, and I purchased it legitimately with my receipt, I absolutely have the right to exchange or return it within the return window. The item wasn't even 48 hours old. Another employee then came out of the office while I was trying to understand why this was being done. The entire interaction felt rude, unnecessary, and unprofessional. This is exactly why I prefer shopping at stores other than Walmart because there always seems to be unnecessary issues and confusion. This location on Pleasant Hill Road seriously needs improvement, not just with returns and exchanges, but with customer service overall. Half the time employees do not know where products are located when customers ask for help. Compare that to stores like Publix, where employees will actually walk customers to the aisle to help them find what they need. A customer should not have to deal with nonsense over a simple exchange for a defective product that was just purchased. It makes no sense and creates an unpleasant shopping experience.

Usually, there's no associate in the dairy section so I have to find one. Their sometimes annoyed because I'm taking them away from what their doing. I end up going to Kroger for FF Milk. It's amazing that somehow Kroger has figured out a system to always have gallon size FF Milk on the shelf.
