I don't usually see a lot of staff when I come in but have never had a problem with self- checkout. It's a good location if you need something late, especially and are in the area.

Be mindful. They don't accept everyone's Medicaid.

While standing in a long pharmacy line, I watched staff loudly lecture an elderly man about insurance and copays in front of everyone. It was not a private, respectful conversation. It was loud, sharp, and embarrassing for him. Another employee stepped in and somehow made it worse by speaking in an exaggerated, demeaning tone that sounded like she was talking to a child. There was zero effort to be kind or professional. I also heard a staff member snap at a customer who asked about Spanish language help and say, "We only speak English here." In a healthcare setting, that is beyond unacceptable. When it was my turn, I asked the pharmacist (Lee Trac) to apply coupons I had just added in the app. She immediately acted irritated, said she would have to void everything, and then made a big show of slamming items around when I said that was fine. After rerunning the transaction, she loudly pointed out that my discounts were only a few cents, as if that made my request stupid. It felt like she was trying to embarrass me for simply wanting valid coupons applied. Customers should not be treated like a nuisance for trying to save money. To top it off, when I went to the front of the store to ask who the manager was, staff could not even clearly tell me who runs the store. Multiple first names, no last names, and no clear leadership. That is a serious red flag. I have been to this location for years and have never seen it this bad. The level of discrimination immature attitude, and lack of professionalism I saw that day was shocking. Norcross Pharmacy has always given me stellar service and gone above and beyond. The other reviews that are critical of service during COVID: come on now, COVID darn near ruined everything for everybody, and nobody was at all happy about it, and it seeps into all aspects of daily life -- including attitudes -- and professionals are no exception. I know that is not standard everywhere. If a product is defective, and I purchased it legitimately with my receipt, I absolutely have the right to exchange or return it within the return window. The item wasn't even 48 hours old. Another employee then came out of the office while I was trying to understand why this was being done. The entire interaction felt rude, unnecessary, and unprofessional. This is exactly why I prefer shopping at stores other than Walmart because there always seems to be unnecessary issues and confusion. This location on Pleasant Hill Road seriously needs improvement, not just with returns and exchanges, but with customer service overall. Half the time employees do not know where products are located when customers ask for help. Compare that to stores like Publix, where employees will actually walk customers to the aisle to help them find what they need. A customer should not have to deal with nonsense over a simple exchange for a defective product that was just purchased. It makes no sense and creates an unpleasant shopping experience.

Often times the FF Milk is in stock but hasn't been put on the shelf. Each time it's not on the shelf, I track down an associate and ask them to check the back of the freezer. Usually, there's no associate in the dairy section so I have to find one. Their sometimes annoyed because I'm taking them away from what their doing. I end up going to Kroger for FF Milk. It's amazing that somehow Kroger has figured out a system to always have gallon size FF Milk on the shelf.
