I have been shopping here at this store for 23 years, ever since I have lived in Norcross. Do they have a new manaager? There are only 2 checkers that I remember that still work here. All the rest are new and the old mannerly checkers have left or transferred out. The checkout til only speaks Spanish. Although, it happily takes my credit card. I will look for another grocery store. One with staff that has good customer service. read more

I called on a Tuesday evening around 6:24 PM. Asked about if they offer to steam purchased Seafood, they told me they do and they close at 9:00 PM. I show up around 8:23 PM, and STOOD IN FRONT OF THE SEAFOOD DEPARTMENT until 8:31 PM. Then a guy just came out, ask "how may I help you" after making eye contact with me 3-4 times. I ask if I can purchase some seafood and have it steamed and all he did was point at the sign and say "we close at 8:30 PM." It is just insane to me how NOT ONLY they provided MISINFORMATION, but they also actively avoided helping me until its "past closing." Truly one of the worst Publix experience I had. read more

This is the Peachtree Corners Publix. We love Publix and especially Pub Subs so this review is based on the deli/sub station. This was one of the first times in a while where I only saw a single person making subs. While the line was only 3 people deep, it felt like the line was super long. I felt bad for the employee b/c you could tell that they could use some help and yet they were too busy to ask for any. This is why we did not order our "usual" b/c it would mean the person would have to go custom cut the meat. The BH turkey and swiss on the new soft rolls was tasty. Nothing special. read more

Please be aware of the lack of customer service. I called and asked if this Publix carried a certain product that I saw at the Johns Creek Publix. The lady put me on hold and did not return to the phone. I call back and she answers and says, "we don't have it." She had not checked on the product availability, she just put the phone on hold and waited for me to hang up and call back. Please train for customer service expected at most Publix stores. This store has so many complaints. Please improve the PTC Publix and bring back the superb standard that it used to have. The employee was non-English speaking. Please increase training. read more

What has changed with this Peachtree Corners Publix...It seems to not be as professional as it once was. Has so much theft happened that police officers are needed at the entrance on busy days? Maybe that has caused a change in how customers are treated at Customer Service. Simple, honest transactions at Customer Service aren't handled as professionally as they once were when other staff members were employed. There is nothing wrong or unlawful about companies trying to get the best applicants by "casting a wide net" and ensuring one reaches applicants from a variety of backgrounds. Publix is a wonderful store, and I hope their slogan continues: "it is a pleasure to shop here." Please keep the standards high and employee professional staff. The pharmacy just charged 13.94 for a low dose aspirin prescription that could have been purchased for 4.00 over the counter. Always something at this location! We weren't notified about the option of purchasing over the counter. They wouldn't issue a refund. read more

I like this Publix. Parking is much better than a lot of other locations even though, yes, you are competing with the Target crowd. The service/ wait at the deli is better here than at the Shallowford location in terms of being able to keep space from people and not having a cramped waiting area. Lines are long at most Publix stores at peak lunch/ dinner times - it's just to be expected. The chicken, sandwiches, and sushi brought in are always fresh and tasty at this location. The workers are so friendly and helpful. Definitely one of my favorite locations besides the Lilburn/Rockbridge one. read more

I am writing to share a concern regarding an interaction I experienced this morning at the customer service counter. when I approached the counter, I politely asked Sandy if the customer service area was open her response was, " Didn't you see the light on?" The tone of her response felt dismissive and rude. which was surprising and disappointing. I have been a loyal Publix customer for over 20 years, and this is the first time I have experienced customer service that made me feel uncomfortable or disrespected. I grew up shopping at Publix with my mother in Florida. I have since relocated to Atlanta and was pleased that Publix eventually built in this area. However, even before the pandemic... Everything about the Publix that I visit has been becoming more and more unsatisfactory. The push for self checkout is concerning. If the self check out practice is supposed to be saving Publix money on staff, then why has Publix raised its prices faster and higher than any other store in the area? Why doesn't Publix share the price of individual items on its website? Is Publix afraid of its high prices that are similar to Whole Foods now... but even Whole Foods puts their prices upfront on the website as every other grocery retailer aside from Aldi. What is Publix trying to hide? Publix used to have a tagline "where shopping is a pleasure" however it's not been a pleasure for over six years now... You must wear a facial mask and social distancing is a must. I had to pick up some things for my family, and this is the closest Publix near me. It was lunch time, so the deli was kind of crowded. You must wait for your turn and also they have stickers on the floor to let you know where to wait at and how far apart you must stand to stay safe. The store is super clean, friendly employees and fresh food. I purchased salad for the week for me and my Husband and son ordered an Italian sub. They now have the salad bar open, where customers can prepare their own salad or soups of choice. Due to the Coronavirus, I wouldn't feel safe, but the store does. I'm glad I did see an employee once, as I was at the deli, that went to check on the salad bar if anyone needed assistance. I will definitely be back soon for groceries though. I'm sure Publix will continue to take care of their customers. read more

The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a Publix. I stopped in at this location for a "quick" wrap from the deli. I got in line apx 4:10pm. when I got in line there were at least 5 people working in the deli area. 2 making sandwiches for customers, 1 making online orders I'm assuming, and 2 others making plates.. After one person finished with her order, one lady left and left a man "who seemed very new" I'll explain once I get to my turn by himself. There were 3 people ahead of me. By the time it got to me it had been 30 min.. not because people were ordering extraordinary items, but because he was by himself and wasn't very knowledgeabl. so I get to my turn.. I ask for a wrap and what options. We go with tomato. I tell him I want to do a fish wrap, which is my usual, he says "oh thats a new one for me." I'm like ok.. so mind you, Ive been eyeing the fish since I've been in line with time to look. The wrap typically comes with 2 pieces of fish.. he brings back the smallest piece as if he dug it from the bottom because I didn't even see that one on display.. I ask for 2 and he says oh it come with one.. but i thought this is new for you and you don't knw.. anywho I tell him I want to do it Philly style. Now if you knw publix philly they chop everything and heat it in a separate paper bowl, this man grabs a handful of mushrooms and proceeds to add them to the wrap. I say wo wo wait the philly style like chop it up.. he looks confused and offers to get someone else. At this point I've been waiting for over 30 min sobi say let's just do veggies.. I ask for white American they have one old crusty piece left that he puts k the wrap and begins searching for more.. he ends up cutting some fresh pieces and was going to place the new with the old.. I say uhm can I have all fresh slices.. which for a wrap is 4 3-4 slices.. this man puts 2 slices down.. also as he's walking back a manager is attempting to put on gloves and assist.. he whispers something to him and that's when I ask for the fresh slices. I say yeah I've been waiting nearly 45 min and I kinda want what I want. After he places 2 slices down that's it for me I tell him u knw what I don't want it and walk off. It was the entire energy from the lady leaving him in a lurch with a line of ppl, to the lack of items & knowledge... it was a 0 out of 10 for me. I will say the restrooms were very nice and tidy as I sued them prior to getting in line. Will never attempt to experience this horrible service ever again. read more

Nice grocery location... I have been doing a lot of traveling lately... and this time when I landed I started to not feel so well. As the day went on it progressively goof worse! So as I headed to the hotel I saw a sign for this location and tthought I would pull in to get some meds. The parking lot was actually quite dimly lit... for me it was fine but I would not be happy about my wife coming here on her own at night with how dark it was. Anything more then a few spaces out was in almost complete blackness. The store itself was nice. Clean well laid out a big selection of cold meds, and (as I walked by i noticed...) a very good selection of wine and beer. The checkout lady was fast and kind... maybe she wanted MMs home because I was obviously "infected"! I don't know but it took about 2 seconds to be checked out and I was on my way. Nice place! Seriously I thought the store was great... just get some lights in the lot so we feel safe! read more

I am so not happy with my Pharmacy Curbside Pickup order experience. I had placed my order earlier in the day. I had a little trouble paying in the app. I tried again 2 hours later and was finally successful. Since I was not feeling well, I arranged for the curbside pick up. I get to the store and park in one of the two spaces available. The other was occupied by a Gwinnett County empty cop car. When you park in the space it asks you to call and select extension 0. I advised the young man, I had placed a pharmacy order and was there to pick it up. I provided my name and birthdate. So, why did a young man come to my car to ask if I had placed an InstaCart order. What the what!!!!!!!! At this point I am so upset, why the hell did I waste my time in the app processing a pharmacy order for pickup, only to be asked if I had placed an InstaCart order! At this point, I just got out of the car and went in the store. I then asked for a manager. I explained the situation and asked why was my time wasted, when I explained I was there to pickup up a prescription that was paid for already. Now everyone wanted to try and explain why this interaction went so wrong, with what I thought was a simple transaction. Access the Publix Pharmacy app, check prescription was ready, select option (in store pickup, curbside pickup or delivery), pay for prescription, park in curbside pickup spot, call to advise I was there waiting and have my prescription brought to me. Evidently, I am a fool, because people seem to make simple steps and convenience into an ordeal of momentous stupidity and inconvenience. I was going to have some other prescriptions transferred to Publix, but now I don't think that would be a good idea. read more

Waited in line for a sub only for them to allow someone to cut me because they complained about having an online order. My team was celebrating a birthday at the job so I had to bring a birthday cake. If you never had a cake from Publix especially a birthday cake you are missing out. The good thing is you don't have to pre-order unless you are looking for s specific color, flavor or specialty cake. I went to this location because it is closest to the job. I visited relatively early, before nine I think. They had a full staff. They had a nice selection of cakes. I requested a name put on it and was accommodated. Everyone here is very courteous. This location is one of the last stores that seem like it hasn't be remodeled yet and even with that I have no complaints. I was in and out in a jiffy. read more

This review is for Publix store #00560 located in the Peachtree Square shopping center in Peachtree Corners (Norcross). This is one of the bigger Publix Super Markets I've been to in the Atlanta metro. Outside of the standard bakery and deli, there's a $6.99 per pound salad bar and hot bar and a small dine-in area. We stopped by this Publix to pick up prescription drugs from the pharmacy. At lunchtime, the pharmacy was very busy. One pharmacy technician, Zach, was in the back dispensing drugs while the other, Mery, was out front dealing with customers. They worked efficiently. After filling out paperwork and handing Mery the prescriptions, she told us the drugs would be ready in 30 minutes. We grabbed lunch at the deli while we waited. Like the pharmacy, the bakery and deli were dealing with the lunchtime rush. A lot of office workers stood in line to pick up fried chicken or a Publix sub. I checked out the salad bar and hot bar. The salad bar ingredients were very basic -- spinach, iceberg lettuce, grape tomatoes, broccoli, black olives, etc. The hot bar had an Asian theme going with lots of different rice dishes, noodles, and various stir-fries. I'm pretty sure I saw orange chicken and/or sweet and sour chicken in there. The bars didn't look appealing, so we went to the deli and got a sub. I tried a half sub with Boar's Head turkey, Swiss cheese, shredded lettuce, pickles, tomato, mayo, and mustard on whole wheat ($5.59). The ingredients were fresh and the sub was tasty and filling. You can almost always rely on a Publix sub and it tastes better than a Subway sub. The lady at checkout was friendly. This Publix deli has a refreshment stand with a fountain drink machine, napkins, disposable silverware, and condiments. Fountain drinks included Coke products such as Sprite, Fanta, and Barq's Root Beer. They cost $1.29 for a small, $1.39 for a medium, and $1.49 for a large. Unlimited refills. We ate in the small dining room next to the deli. It was clean and had a handful of small tables. When we were returned the pharmacy approximately a half hour later, the prescription was ready. Mery was helpful and polite and had us on our way. You can't beat free medicine at Publix. Amoxicillin FTW. Google "publix free medications" to see what's available. read more

So, I go out shopping early today. I spend about $40 on groceries. I get back home, put everything away, and review the receipt. They mistakenly charged me $3.29 for a bag of pretzels that was on sale for $2.50. No big deal, and free pretzels for me! So I go return to the store with the receipt, the pretzels, and I go to the aisle WHICH IS RIGHT ACROSS FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE and take a picture of the signage and then go up to the desk to get my refund. I show the lady behind the counter the receipt where I have circled the item and the price I was charged and the picture I had just taken less than two minutes ago. Unlike every other Publix, she insisted that she had to verify it even with the picture. Whatever. So I have to wait there while she calls a kid to go to the aisle and verify that I am not lying and that I was not a criminal mastermind trying to steal $3.36 after tax from the store. She could've walked over herself and back in the time it took me to write the last sentence. The kid finally shows up, takes the bag with him and proceeds to get lost in the store even though I even pointed out the aisle directly behind us. There is nobody behind me in line. Finally, she does what she could've done immediately since I was not to be trusted and walks over to the aisle that the kid had finally found and verifies my truth. She then comes back, doesn't say a word, and processes my refund. No apology offered either for the overcharge, the unnecessary wait, or for doubting my word. I then proceeded to tell her before I left that I would've appreciated an apology of some sort, and also let her know this situation was a good example why I go out of my way to drive to other locations that are farther away just so I didn't have to shop there. read more

This is the closest grocery to home so regular visits are made here for whatever. The store is clean and the staff minus a couple of small complaints is cheerful. The pharmacist on a recent visit was a life saver. I've had a recent allergy out break that includes hives and have know idea whats causing it (Pednizone helps until the next time) so when she was able to tell me about a couple of over the counter products that might help give some temporary relief until I could see an allergist you better believe I took her up on suggestion. Good store with nice and helpful employees. The store is always bright and clean. I do have a HUGE issue with the deli! I order frequently from the deli because their subs are good. However, do NOT place an order online because they will screw it up EVERY time. I'm sitting here eating the Italian sub that I ordered online that is soggy because they put a pile of garlic pickles on it...even though I asked specifically for them to be put in a separate container. Last week I ordered the holiday sandwich and they forgot the bacon and mayo...and there have been numerous other orders placed by me and my work crew. Hey Publix, if you offer us the option to order online and put specific instructions on those orders, could you please remember to have someone who actually knows how to read and speak English doing it....OR remove this option altogether because your track record of getting online orders right is very poor!! Some people do not have the time to stand in that hectic line to ensure that they are getting what they paid for. My crew and I will look elsewhere for our sub needs. read more

I didn't have a negative experience with the staff, it was the customers who tried to run me over in the parking lot, walked around with no apparent destination except maybe to just get in the way, and finally trying to cause collisions in the parking lot with their lack of driving skills and common courtesy. I suspect the distance from the nearest Walmart is why there are so many yahoos here. Prices aren't bad and selection was good. Two stars for this joint! read more

I see Publix and we are able to get in, get made-to-order sandwiches, drinks, snacks, and breakfast items. All of this took place prior to the store closing. Very infrequently there will be a special sale on some random item which makes its price competitive with Kroger. The only good thing I can say about Publix is that I've seen their old bread being given away for free at two local thrift stores. So there's that. read more

The worker literally grabbed my red bell peppers with her bare hands, took them out of the plastic bagging, and then proceeded to scan and set them on the grocery scanner counter with nothing to protect it from sitting in the bare surface. How can anyone NOT like Publix? Clean, bright, friendly staff, great "Publix brand" products, and yes... As one reviewer said... The BEST fried chicken. I also love the bakery, deli (mmmm Boar's Head), hot food,etc. Everyone knows Publix is a tad bit pricier than other groceries but the quality is definitely there...you never have to worry about that. Publix is my go to grocery unless I'm doing some bulk shopping. Even then, I will probably end up making a quick stop at Publix. Every time I've been here, they've been packed with people: diverse crowd. FROM THE BAKERY: This specific review is on their bakery: my husband ordered a cake for my birthday. A NUTTY DELIGHT cake. Oh my Lord!! Was it so good! Everyone that tried the cake was surprised! It was covered and smothered with pecans on the outside and the inside layers had alternating vanilla and chocolate layers. It was moist! And not too rich!! Publix Bakery, I will be back again for this delicious cake! FROM THE HOT FOODS: I'm always looking for the Public chicken wings. Some Publix's have the breaded hot wings, breaded asian-glaze, breaded orange chicken wings ... but not all have these. Most have the non-breaded hot wings and then regular wings. I was surprised to come here and find that they had all of them. Thank you, Lord! Now, if only I could eat wings every day..... I'm so excited, you guys... THEY HAVE CRISPERS!!! If you're not from Florida, you might not recognize the name. Crispers is a Publix eatery like Atlanta Bread Company, Panera Bread, etc. While they don't have everything on the Crispers menu (only one soup, and they'd have to call Florida to find out what's in a veggie Cobb), this means you can get custom-made salads at the deli, with dressings like Spicy Thai Peanut and more traditional kinds like vinaigrette and bleu-cheese. Oh, I'm so happy... I only wish I'd realized this before I ordered my vegetarian sub with two kinds of Boar's Head cheese (I had to spell "Gruyère" so she could enter it into the computerized ordering system -- and no, I didn't get pedantic about the accent grave). Still, for six bucks, I'm happily stuffed with yummies from this Publix deli. read more
