All associated teammates involved in the project, including the electrician, the plumber, and a few others, were very professional efficient, and they cleaned up after themselves. The job is fantastic down to the last detail. I've got five kids who were running at his feet the entire time he was working and he handled it gracefully and safely along the way. Between late 2022 and June 2023, Hurst Total Home did many repairs and upgrades to our home in…read moreCenterville, ranging from minor drywall repairs up to rebuilding a rot and termite damaged exterior wall. We had been very satisfied with their work. But this is no longer so. In June 2023, we contracted and made a down payment to Hurst Total Home to replace the French doors that open onto our back deck. There was the usual wait for the job to find a place in the schedule. Then there were excuses for delays that drifted into December. We didn't want an open hole in the house in December, so we agreed to put the project off until March 2024. March came and went. After more excuses, it was June. Assuming that Hurst already bought the replacement doors, we asked if we could have them so someone else could do the installation. It turned out that the doors hadn't been ordered yet! We asked for our deposit back. Hurst agreed. As of January 2025, we've only received about 1/8th of the down payment back. We have a complaint open with the Better Business Bureau. Buyer beware of Hurst Total Home!

We signed the contract and wrote a check for $3900 which was cashed by the business owner. Time went by, more than a year. We became tired of Mr. Hurst putting off our project so we asked him to return our down payment. We were told he no longer had our money and that he had spent it on something else. We filed a complaint with the local BBB and still here did not return our money. His BBB rating is now suspended. Mr. Hurst has still not returned our down payment. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They can not be trusted. (I would correct my typos but the cursor can not be moved back.)
