I'm a runner and have been experiencing pain in my left leg and glute since early April. It got to the point where it was too difficult to run. Brian and I spoke by phone before I made my first appointment. I wanted to make sure it was worth my while to drive out to Lawrence for care. What probably impressed me the most was his extensive work with athletes, including the KU basketball team. He helped me understand how my body alignment was causing sciatic issues. He also communicated a deep understanding of my bone and muscle structure. My treatment consisted of targeted massage, plus lots of stretching. After my first treatment, I made a business trip to Boston and went out for a walk each morning. I tried to run and found the pain had dramatically lessened. The second day, I ran longer than the first. On my next appointment, I told Brian he was a miracle worker. I couldn't believe how quickly his work would get me back to feeling normal. Both are very knowledgeable and excellent at treating back pain. For example I threw out my lower back out lifting a heavy trailer up, I put off treatment for several months and went to two different chiropractors trying to save a little money before visiting Dr. Wade. The prior two never came close to getting my back into place. One visit to Dr. Wade and my wallet was slighty lighter compared to the prior two, but my back pain was gone. Money well spent. Whoever left a one star rating is entitled to their opinion, but based on my extensive experience visiting them both, I'd have to strongly disagree, simply couldn't be more wrong. Out of the 20 plus chiropractors I've been to nationwide over the last 20 years id have to say they're easily top of the list (technically my favorite was a chiropractor back in TN, but we're talking 1a vs 1b scenario) based on my experience. I literally have multiple experiences of self inflicted back pain due to stupidity on my part and working construction I listed one example. If your back hurts go!!! You won't regret it.
