While they seem to get new equipment more regularly than other locations, maintenance on some old equipment seems to be harder to execute. The good: State of the art treads and bikes make cardio work enjoyable. A wide range of equipment and floor space to do your own strength training is also plentiful. The not so great: The rowers specifically in the workout area upstairs don't seem to be calibrated correctly. They also hold a wide number of special classes, both at the location as well as local parks to keep your fitness journey fresh. If you are looking for fitness community, join them for one of the activities they host at their onsite lounge. This location also does a nice job of keeping all areas clean and presentable.

Nick wants to learn the "proper" way to work out, build muscle and learn about nutrition. He will be a senior in HS and is on the swim team. Rather than just send him to a large fitness gym, with little to no knowledge of the equipment etc., we wanted something more personable. This is the perfect fit!!! I like that there's usually only 3-4 other people there and mostly everyone displays proper gym etiquette. (i.e. there's no grunting, people wipe down their equipment, and they don't hog machines). Three criticisms: 1.) There isn't a water fountain there 2.) No dedicated space for working with Swiss balls, mats, and resistance bands. 3.) No showers. Not a big deal if you head home after, but if you're on your way to work, not so great.. Bottom line: I'll keep going here, and I wouldn't tell anyone not to come here, either.

When January came, they made it permanent without telling me. I called and cancelled. It never went through; and I never heard from them again. Not one email, text, nothing. I should have caught the billing on my credit card statement but did not (that's on me). But Westwood sent not a line, nothing, this whole time, and they won't refund the over $700 they've collected and I've set foot in there for an hour, a year go, to use the whirlpool. That's not the kind of business practice I want to see in a provider. They could refund the money. They won't.
