Drink orders not only came out quick, but even soft drinks included a carafe for self-refills like the coffee. Sure, you could see this as "lazy" or something silly, but in a jam-packed restaurant it literally gave us all we needed for the meal without having to ask again. Food orders were taken patiently despite having two octogenarians in our party. Changes to orders were even patiently welcomed. Food came out quickly, hot, and accurately. It was well prepared and tasty to boot. As we were winding down our meal we noticed how much the crowd had thinned but that the waitstaff were still hustling about. Both were so friendly and accommodating and when the son found out it was our first time, he generously shared some bite sized cronuts with us because that's one of their specialities. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich on one of their croissants... grilled to perfection with crispy edges and melty cheese, so buttery and delicious. They also have yeast and cake style donuts as well as cinnamon rolls, fritters, kolaches and donut holes. (We got there after a busy morning so go early if you want the full selection of options) Yeast donuts were so light, it was amazing how airy and fluffy they were, not overly sweet which I appreciated. My favorite was the cake donut, it was so light and buttery had that perfect "crispy" outside with a great chew inside.
