A pinecone…read morecame through our skylight leaving a large hole with additional breakage from other things falling from the trees, and I first called for help on Monday, 9/4. Since we were out of town, we drove two hours to meet the team at our house on Tuesday, 9/5. Unfortunately, they arrived without a ladder, could not access the roof, and told us they would return the following day with the proper equipment and an additional person. No one showed up on 9/6, and when we followed up the same day, we were told they actually would not be coming until the following Tuesday, 9/12. Ok, thanks for letting us know... We saw on our cameras that they did come out on 9/12, but we never received any communication from them. I called on 9/12 and was told only that they had been there, but the owners were busy with their children starting school and would not be able to follow up for a few days. Meanwhile, we still had a hole in our roof. After additional calls and unreturned messages on 9/15 and 9/18, I finally received a call back on 9/19--two full weeks after their initial visit--only to be told they could not help us. This left us back at square one, with no progress made and valuable time lost. The lack of communication and follow-through was extremely disappointing, especially given the urgency of the situation.
