Lights dimmed then died, the car struggled to keep running. I limped home on a wing and a prayer. This morning I started looking for a shop that would at least do a diagnostic right away so I could figure out my plans for going back to Virginia on Monday. After calling a few shops that wouldn't even let me have the car towed to them I found Hooligan Motorsports. A quick call with Rob and he said he could have a look at it as soon as I could get it there. We both suspected the Alternator and within 20 minutes of having the car dropped off Rob called to tell me that he could have it fixed up same day, and an hour or so after that he called again to say the car was ready to be picked up! On top of helping me out of my sudden problem right away, the cost of repair was surprisingly affordable. I'm truly fortunate to find this shop. Rob is very easy to work with. He was the miracle I needed today, and I have found the local shop where we will be taking our repair needs in the future.

He said I needed a new starter, great, over 600 dollars later, he installs the new starter. Literally hours later the car won't start signifying an electrical or battery issue. It finally starts and I head to oriley's for a new battery, and guess what, that's exactly what the car needed in the first place....A new battery. Long story short this "automotive mechanic" took advantage of me and charged me nearly 700 dollars for a new starter while all I needed was a new battery. I honestly cant believe a human being can sleep at night knowing they make a living straight up scamming people out of hundreds/thousands of dollars. This is not making an honest living, this is screwing people over making the world a worse place for profit. Do better. I'd leave 0 stars if I could.
